Hi Mike,
Most of our customer support is performed on the forums – so this is the right place to ask your question.
Yes, Symbiostock Express can be used on multiple sites as it is based on the Virtue theme which is GPL. However no other Symbiostock plugins can be used on multiple sites. It is discouraged from doing so to circumvent theme authors from sustaining development, and most organizations are generally compliant with this expectation.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for your questions:
1) No, once submitted they are submitted. The Symbiostock Submitter uses FTP to upload the files automatically.
2) At the current time the submitter does not have a mechanism for attaching releases.
3) You can edit metadata in bulk using the base Symbiostock plugin and yes, the submitter will upload these files along with their metadata to the agency. However there is currently no means of attaching model releases.
We are exploring methods of adding model releases and may add this functionality soon. Thanks.
October 4, 2017 at 3:28 pm #31460Hi Roberto,
Symbiostock does not store files in a physical manner in different directories as that defeats the whole purpose of using a database; if you wanted to rename the category or change the category altogether rather than just alter the database you would have to actually move the file. This is simply not how things work now that databases exist.
As for uploading files and putting them in categories – you can do this in bulk via your main product list screen or you can add the category to the metadata of the images before uploading. Symbiostock will then automatically create a category or add the image to an already created category that has that name.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
October 3, 2017 at 4:55 pm #31458Hi Pawel,
If you are getting email links and the file downloads at 0kb then your system/install may have issues with regards to configuration. If you need us to login to fix the issue you would have to request a support request as this is not a bug within core Symbiostock.
Thanks.

There, when you click on it, you will first go to the title – click tab, then the description. Tab again, then tags.
If you want you can leave the status as is and just populate all those fields first. Then bulk publish all the files you want.
An alternative is to add this metadata to your media on your computer before uploading, then Symbiostock will import it automatically and you don’t need to do anything.
Basically this is a WordPress WooCommerce issue – so if you can find a WooCommerce plugin that allows you to bulk edit (and I’m sure you can) this will work with Symbiostock products as well.

It is likely it is not being applied because the filter is not configured properly. I suggest creating another test site, installing Symbiostock on it and compare one of the default licenses to your new license and ensure that the filters are applied correctly.
September 22, 2017 at 5:54 pm #31415Hi Ian:
1) You can auto-populate categories by adding the appropriate metadata:
https://www.symbiostock.org/docs/reading-writing-metadata/
You can do this prior to upload using your favorite editor. Photoshop will do this but I do not know if it does this in bulk.
Here is a sample software that may work for you:

When uploaded, images will automatically be categorized.2) Yes, create a coupon code within WooCommerce that offers a 100% discount. Or you can price the license at 0 and it will be free.
September 16, 2017 at 5:07 pm #31394September 13, 2017 at 8:52 pm #31379It shows up because when we release a new version of Symbiostock we do thorough testing with the current version of WooCommerce. As WooCommerce updates on its own schedule, we can’t predict if future updates may break some aspect of how Symbiostock interacts with it. So we warn people that if you upgrade your WooCommerce version it “could” introduce issues.
However as we released the latest version very recently, and as of late WooCommerce hasn’t really released massive changes to their backend, the chances of there being a problem are not that great. Nevertheless, it is strongly recommended not to upgrade WooCommerce, and to enable the disabling of the update prompt via your Symbiostock settings to prevent exactly what happened with you from happening.
Also, generally WooCommerce updates do not improve the average store in any real way (stores running on WooCommerce 2.5.5 will likely operate exactly as fast as ones with the latest version) so there is no real reason to take that risk unless you need a new functionality introduced in a new version of WooCommerce.
