This is not the only time this has happened here, so I’ll ask again please, how can I block people that have sent me an email and remove my profile photo?
March 28, 2019 at 7:21 am #34383It’s not happening on a “page”, according to the web hosting company (Flywheel). They said the error came from the PHP error log, which wouldn’t be specific to any page. The error mentions that a Call to a member function disable_direct_access() on null in the front-product-page.php file that is apart of the “symbiostock-pro” plugin.
March 14, 2019 at 5:02 am #34295Bump please!!!
March 1, 2019 at 1:53 am #34234I think I’ve fixed it now. I decided to do a test order, just to be sure. I went to look at the order in the WC orders page, and saw that it was processing, and then I saw the notice at the top of the page to never manually mark the orders complete as that may result in download links that may not work. That is what happened in this case. Her order didn’t complete, because I hadn’t yet changed the PayPal IPN to reflect my new domain name, so I manually marked it complete, not realizing that wouldn’t work.
I also discovered the Cron job I had set up wasn’t running, not sure why, but that’s fixed now also, my test order completed and I received the download link which worked.
Thank you for all your help!
February 27, 2019 at 6:03 am #34226So I checked with my hosting company and they looked at the database records.
They found that whatever is generating the download links – which is Symbiostock – is creating the temp URL. Here are links to a couple of screen shots.
https://flywheel.link/cc91b4This next link shows what you see if you try to edit a record so you can view the entire string:
https://flywheel.link/bea1c9Why would it be doing this?
February 27, 2019 at 5:20 am #34224Thank you, it’s work in progress 🙂
My site is on an NGNIX server, so no .htaccess file. Guess I’ll have to message them and ask them if they can help me.
Thank you, can we leave this thread open for now please?
February 27, 2019 at 12:10 am #34220Yes, permalinks have been resaved and I’ve changed the URL everywhere that I can think of, both WordPress, WooCommerce and all the other settings, including the processing string.
I am using PHP 7.1 and WC 3.5.4.
Of course it says that it may “experience bugs or quirks”, but it’s worked when I tested it in the past. And I can’t really run old versions of that any longer, especially PHP, because then things just aren’t compatible. Is there anything else you can tell me? What is https://temp.com? I just don’t understand why it would be forwarding to that URL?
February 20, 2019 at 2:58 am #34173Oh, thank you, I did just change the URL of my website and there are about a million different places where I have to change everything. The IPN was one of them, even though I had changed everything else on PayPal. Thanks so much, I’m sure that was it, as this has worked in the past with other orders on my site.
January 15, 2019 at 11:17 pm #33988But it is still showing the largest license available in the drop down selections for those items, and it is allowing me to add it to the cart. How do I remove that?
January 15, 2019 at 8:04 am #33981Ah okay, yes I was reading that wrong.
So if my medium size image is 1536 x 2048, the area would be 3,145,728 pixels… if I wanted my large size image to be anything above that, I would put a number larger than that in those fields, so 3,150,000 for example? Am I correct using so many digits in this way?
January 15, 2019 at 6:56 am #33979So if my medium sized license goes up to 2048 pixels, and I set the minimum pixels on my large size license to 2050, then the larger size license won’t apply?
So, I’ve done this on one image to test, however when I go to that image, it still shows the large size license in the drop down menu.
When you say “You are able to disable this on a per license basis but using filters is usually better.”, I don’t understand how I would disable this on a “per license” basis. I feel like I should be able to disable it on a “per product” basis, but that isn’t working, which is the reason for this post 🙂
January 12, 2019 at 3:38 am #33960Bump please!
January 5, 2019 at 2:51 am #33925Yes, thank you, thank worked!!!! I sure appreciate the help 🙂
January 5, 2019 at 12:57 am #33921So I had put the URL of my website in that field, because the commend that is in the plugin instructions under Settings is this –
curl -silent -A ‘Mozilla’ ‘https://www.theresasheridan.com/?c=1&ss_c=134f33d9a3182de5d5fa’ >/dev/null 2>&1
and it won’t even save the cron job this way.
I knew it wanted the command to begin with https, that’s why I was confused and asking for instructions.
I’ve also tried adding my website URL before the command, and I’ve tried removing the portion before the URL in the command, but neither method works.
Is the command wrong? If so, please provide me the correct one so that I can get this up and running. Thank you.
January 4, 2019 at 2:21 am #33916Thank you for the information. I’m trying to set this up, but I can’t figure out how it works, and where/how I enter the command that you provide in the System settings.
• What is the Request Method? It seems the only options that allow me to enter the command you provide would be PUT or POST.
• Do I need to check the box for HTTP authentication and put my WP credentials here for this to run properly? (My hosting company is using NGNIX servers and they do not use .htaccess files)
I have using both the POST and PUT methods, with and without HTTP authentication, but it keeps failing, or says it’s inactive, so clearly I’m doing something wrong.
Since my website is running on an NGNIX server, I do not have a cPanel or Plesk to schedule this on the server and would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you ?
