Lucato – I registered with your site as Christine-test and am logged in, have not yet received any emails though.
Thanks a lot Christine for your help. I appreciated that. The registration went ok, I get to see it on the back end and received an email from SYM “New Symbiostock User Registration”. I’ll check why and how the email notice to the register members wasn’t delivered.
Have a great weekend.
December 6, 2014 at 10:41 am #11490Hey Leo, good to hear from you!
I’m a little puzzled with the SYM update. Some time ago I have recieved emails that SYM was going to change a lot and be a new thing or am I wrong?
Well, regarding my site, it is still up, but I don’t know if it is working once I have never had one registration and therefore no sales. :0) Used to get just emails from Wordfence if I’m not wrong. Now, I’m not sure if this email was sent everytime someone tried to register due some issue… :0(
So, if anyone want to register to test if it is working, I’ll appreciate: http://www.arquivoscriativos.com.br/en
Thanks and have a great weekend folks.

Is anybody out there using Symbiostock with WooCommerce?
Once i was going through PayU payment solution and was thinking if this can be integrated with Symbiostock site , woocommerce is suppoting PayU and other payment solution i guess , Lucato do they have their own payment solution ? where we can integrate with our Symbio site , basically alternate and side by side with paypal , if yes i would be interested to make use of it , as paypal is not working out with me. ( Transaction restricted between Indian Merchant and Indian Buyer 🙁 )
Hi Simi. As I mentioned above to Imago, the good thing of Woocommerce is that several checkout companies have alread plug-ins made for woocomerce and the own woocommerce has another bunch of plug-ins to select currency and other things related to payments besides PayPal or even to PayPal getting to select other currencies and so on. So, it would be amazing to hear from somebody in the community that got to integrate woocommerce with Symbiostock. Regarding your doubt, until I know, Wocommerce doesn’t have its own gateway/payment solution.

No I haven’t tried it. I find it hard to believe that this plug-in will play nicely with Symbiostock without a major effort to code it into the php. I’d love to hear about some first-hand experience as well, though.
Yes, I’d love to hear that too. Woocommerce has some plug-ins and some checkout companies in my country has plug-ins ready for WordPress with woocommerce or WP e-commerce.
If somebody in the community has integrated Wocommerce with Symbiostock, please share with us how to achieve it step by step. ;0)

I have 8 websites, including Symbiostock with Pro plugin, running on the same web space with no problems at all.
– Hmmm, maybe I’m having some king of conflict with Pro-plugin with some other. I need to investigate it deeply.

Thats a little concerning. I am about to shift a couple of my sites to my Bluehost account where my Symbio site is. Hope I don’t have the same issue.
Hope you can figure it out more lucato.
Thanks, I hope it too. :0)

I have three sites on Bluehost, never had this problem….
– Do you use the Symbiostock professional plug-in?
March 5, 2014 at 9:34 am #10075Yes, after some test, if I disable or just rename the ss-professional.old folder, the other sites come back to work (non-symbiostock sites) and no more error 503. I have uninstalled and installed over the ss-professional and for some time seemed to be improved, but after couple uses the issue came back. Not sure if it caches something or what, but it is really something with the ss-professional code, because when deactivating it all sites works ok, even the own symbiostock

I don’t want to clutter up this thread with this but I can still login with the plugin installed.
Jo
Edit: Still login the normal way via the normal link and get access to my dashboard. I tried a different browser to test.
Did you empty your cash first? Did you set a secret keyword in the user area and you saved it? It’s impossible, I think you can still login because you didn’t empty the cash
Here, by setting a secret keyword in the user area and saving it, I can’t login in the backend through the normal link, it refreshes the page as it was entered a wrong password. So, here it seems to be working ok. The only thing I’m thinking is once the hacker knows the login data, can enter from the front-end as an user and get access to the back end from the front-end, once WP shows dashboard/edit post and so on on the front-end.
March 3, 2014 at 10:07 pm #9866You guys that understand these results in Google, share with us what were the results by using it. ;0)
March 1, 2014 at 11:15 pm #9861Hi folks, I’m sorry if it seems a silly doubt, but what is the problem of the date showing in the Google search results? Why to remove such info? What will it improve?
February 25, 2014 at 7:54 pm #8818I forgot to mention. The SS-professional version I’m using with such issue is the v1.4.5
February 23, 2014 at 10:51 pm #9909What is the advantage of having such info under the image?
Is it just to show the buyer that you’ve the legal documents/authorizations from that image, so the buyer can use it with safety?February 22, 2014 at 7:50 am #9751I still stick my vote in “free image section” only for who has already bought some image, in other words, my customer. So I would give it if my customer already bought for example 10* images and I would give one for free at his/her choice.
(*) In the back-end/plug-in would set the number of images to buy to get the free one for free, example: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.
After this customer getting the free image, it would reset the counter and start over.
Also in the back-end would set if the promotion keeps going or have a limit, so would set::
[ ] life for every x images bought;
[ ] x times;
[ ] never – Do not provide such promotion.
The plug-in would send an email warning, if you buy one more image you’re ready to get one for free and so on.February 21, 2014 at 10:28 pm #9885I do love this project too, thanks Leo. I’m just little sad because a lot of SYM users do not participate here in the forum and also that it seems a lot of people don’t believe in its potential due expecting sales and results right away, which even in huge microstock agencies they won’t reach it quick from night to day. I remember that when I started at iStock my first withdraw of 100 bucks was after one year, so it is a project and for a long term. I mean, IMHO.
I use to visit and participate in this forum every single day. So, IMHO it is very important to everyone that wants to participate in the Symbiostock network/project/etc. :0)
