My collections look very strange since I’ve updated: for example only 8 of 12 images are shown, vertical images have square thumbnails, square images have horicontal thumbnails … is it because I’m still using 2.6.5 or is it a bug?
Thanks for pointing this out. I’m using the grid system of the new version. Would you like to upgrade? Meanwhile I can put in elements of the old grid system simultaneously so it looks good. Upgrading will be a small amount of work, so only do it when you feel ready.
October 10, 2013 at 7:56 pm #4202This is very likely showing the need to UP your memory. Or perhaps something else. I saw this on another site and if you don’t mind I’d like to address it today.
October 10, 2013 at 7:54 pm #4193Great job! Awesome site!
October 10, 2013 at 7:51 pm #2966This situation reminded me we need some forum guidelines / rules as is traditional with any forum.
I’ve written an extensive forum guidelines post here: http://www.symbiostock.org/topic/241/forum-rules/
October 10, 2013 at 9:23 am #2963Unless I’ve missed something, it appears this is what happened:
A person well meaning used their valuable time/resources to carry out an act of generosity that would benefit everyone. And now they’ve been hurt.
October 10, 2013 at 3:36 am #4150GOOD NEWS! 1.2.2 – Update now!
Your categories now sort by name. I had overlooked a bit of how to set up that particular function. whereas before it sorted by ID, now it sorts by name! I hope this helps you!October 10, 2013 at 2:48 am #1678don’t take those too seriously. Unless there is broken HTML everything is ok. w3 is a general gauge.
I tried to make a website 100% valid one time, and was successful, but you end up behind the times ironically enough.
October 10, 2013 at 12:38 am #4149Yesterday I was researching a way to alphebetize (sort) the categories and I’m unsure its even possible through wordpress’s functionality itself. But I’ll keep looking. I have the same problem you do – swimming in categories.
October 10, 2013 at 12:36 am #1676Not really. Most of the enhancements have been on the base theme (ie, what the customer experiences) and actually the “Premium” requests also translate to small alterations in the base theme, which will only be visible in the premium upgrade. If that makes 0 sense, thats ok. But I can tell you I’m giving attn to everything important.

PERFECT! the combined images are just what we needed…
meanwhile….have you fixed the problem with not being able to delete categories from selected images in the batch editor? instead it deletes the categpry entirely
Thats on the near to-do. As I used the batch editor for two hours yesterday I was rather happy with how wonderfully stable it is – yet I did find some things needed like you mention. I’ll try to implement that in the easiest way possible. I’m really dying to fix this thing 99% and set it free for a year’s stability at least 😀
October 10, 2013 at 12:32 am #4092Hey guys this isn’t MSG 😀 (not to belittle anyone)
October 10, 2013 at 12:29 am #1674I’m noting all the things mentioned. Today I’m on some other projects. Tomorrow I’m back on Symbiostock.

October 9, 2013 at 8:22 am #1659Right now I’m working on the footer issues 😀
October 9, 2013 at 7:44 am #4132So did you get any info on how to make money with a PC? I’ve been looking for a way to do that.
