Sometimes my upgrade service acts a little quirky. Its a paid external service. The question is does the cart have any errors? Thats most important.

I think this is one of the most wonderful initiatives yet for Symbiostock. Whoever is qualified, able, and motivated – please jump on board with this one!

I can’t be a part of it since 100% of my time is in development, but I think its a great idea. One thing I will be doing is making the base theme “collect” customers to this .org site (without taking away from the webmasters at all)

If you have a Symbiostock site, you’ll notice this Community Area will set you up your very own “customer service” forum, which you can moderate and link to. It helps to keep things integrated, and customers aware of Symbiostock.

I don’t understand where or how I would do this – is this an option now, or a future feature?

You simply have to contact me. Soon enough there will be supported features for your personal forum, like live image updates imported from your site daily, as well as other cool things. Its just another networking / community toy to keep things productive:D

    First the cool part

That is an interesting concept. I assume we would be the moderator for our own customer service forum? And are there instructions for setting up the customer service forum?

Yes, half the point (and an under-emphasized one) of this forum is that you can have your own customer service forum. Here’s my quickly and badly set up example:

Basically if you have a Symbiostock site we will make a dedicated forum at the bottom for your site, much like my example. You can then moderate it and populate the welcome post (and make it sticky).

You can then link to it from your contact page if you wish, or even a menu on your site.

Thanks for getting this set up. Just to let you know I’m back in action on monday with a HUGE list. But thanks for getting this list posted and the board active. Much appreciated.

Birds are not penguins?! Yet a penguin is a bird. What a paradox!

I think I follow – is this something wordpress itself supports? Because the system is built on WordPress taxonomies.

    Wow. Our first hot topic?

Talking to a few people on the phone who are experienced in this business, they’ve echoed the same thing. It went something like

“What you need to do is set up Symbiostock on a cloud, with a stupid-simple interface and set-up…” implying the most efficient and straightfoward set-up-and-sell environment.

Basically a few “flavors” of Symbiostock could be created. The one we have right now is the super-work-horse. A vastly simplified one like mentioned above might be in order as well. There’s a very large group of people who would prefer that sort of setup.
