Its here to stay now.
I took your advice from a loonggg time ago: Simply put this stuff on themeforest. So I’m setting up to use themeforest as the main portal for Symbiostock and other themes. That takes care of overhead and allows us to keep running.
Glad to you see you back too!
December 6, 2014 at 1:54 am #11471Hi Kenny, thanks for posting here. I’m trying to keep all info on this forum for searchability.
1 – Contact form 7 is tricky for me too. It requires specific configuration that isn’t always obvious.
Check this page out and let us know if your set up the same way on Contact Form 7 (after you reinstall it)
http://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/Regarding the dead-end, that can be reconfigured in Users->Your Profile->Contact Page — simply input the page link you wish to point to.
2 – If things are working properly it should send the password the chose. But I’ve seen it backfire. If you like i can check it out.
BTW – added you to my network.
June 30, 2014 at 4:52 am #11467Qual, do you have email problems? I need to know who has email problems so I can address it properly. I checked and I’m not seeing the same issues. Its especially surprising considering I’ve done nothing to the emailer or anything related to it.
June 29, 2014 at 6:42 pm #11465Thanks.
June 24, 2014 at 9:43 pm #11460This is wonderful. I think this is worth a network email update – what do you think? Great work Steve!

Whats changed? Im on 3.3.5?
Always nervous to update without seeing a change log. Please Leo, could we get those for updates if its not too much trouble?
Technichally nothing is changed.
3.3.6 / 7 were changes on what I percieved to be a problem. Then I realized there was no problem, so I removed them and thus we have present version.June 21, 2014 at 9:27 am #11441Sorry was a away while I watched a movie on Netflix with my wife regarding cave divers who got stuck in a cave and drowned.
The cart manager was causing your issue. The cart manager was a plugin created a long time ago to overcome other issues (caused by the 2+ versions not always delivering). I suggest leaving that deactivated as much as possible – it messes with other things.
Your all set up now. enjoy 😀
June 21, 2014 at 3:33 am #11436The last thing I would check (it may involve a call to paypal) is that your account type is correct for using IPN and there are no other issues effecting it.
When the sandbox IPN works and not the live IPN, it usually points to something on paypal’s end when there is no spam blocker in place.
June 21, 2014 at 3:06 am #11433I just did an overhaul on things (your now current) and did some tests.
When I do a paypal sandbox test, it works. A live test (need refunds please :D) doesn’t work.
I’m guessing by the fact that your version was as far back as the 2.+ versions you probably have your paypal IPN set up the way we used to do it wayyyy back.
If this is the situation, you simply have to remove the IPN settings from your account (we used to manually add the IPN url, whereas now we don’t).
If that does not work, its almost certain it has something to do with paypal’s end – perhaps its your account type or another situation like that. But IPN is working on your site, so that is good.
June 21, 2014 at 1:20 am #11447Try again it should be fixed now.
June 20, 2014 at 11:52 pm #11218You use ASP correct? One way or another I can just set it up for you in a simple upgrade (I’ll send you the version before I release it)
Let me know which language you use and specifically how you intend to show it in the footer. If the problem is as simple as passing ASP a variable, I suppose I could do that much and the rest would be however you wished to utilize it.
June 20, 2014 at 11:49 pm #11430Oh btw – I can probably upgrade you much quicker. I’ll have to readjust some widgets and menus – if you don’t mind I can go ahead and you’ll be set and stable.
June 20, 2014 at 11:47 pm #11429I just found the problem. Your using version to 2.6.4! We could afford to upgrade this without losing anything (in fact you’d be gaining much). If I’m not mistaken we didn’t really “master” the checkout thing till sometime after the 3+ versions.
