wish: an easy way for buying on account; an “on account button” at the imagepage should activate a custumerform to fill in firmname, adress, vatnumber, etc, all things needed for sending a bill to a buyer.
wish: a gallery, in which i can link to some of my existing SYS images, which are already uploaded and that there are hyperlinks to those images and that i can give my own title to that galery; just like there is that row of “latest images” and “featured images”. i did not find that feature anywhere
Your going to love the vat system. Once you input the vat number it auto-populates the rest (name, address, etc) super easy.
Right now we’re just researching if that is legal.

I see a lot of wish list items creeping in here – I didn’t add things that were not in the product that I’d like to see as Leo didn’t ask for that.
If you do want a wish list Leo, can I suggest that you have a third topic for that? And perhaps that everyone list their top 5 wishes (to force priorities and avoid laundry lists that don’t help focus your development time/resources?
I figured a wish-list might happen … its the nature it all.
I’ll make a separate post.
May 6, 2014 at 5:25 am #10569I’ll see about making a list no prob. Much of it I just have to mention when I come to it.

All the previous mentioned, except I don’t know what the “dublin core is”, and I’ve not used the cart manager so no opinion on that. My adds to take away:
-all the Symbiostock network/news stuff that a customer won’t care about, specifically on the image pages (already mentioned)
-the twitter and facebook icons that show up in the footer with Leo’s credits– don’t mind giving him credit, but those icons there make it seem like that ‘s how to get ahold of me, not Leo
-can we lose the finickyness of the image processor?
-the slowness of searches and page-loading
-that customers have no way of editing their user profiles? Am I missing something here?
-that the exclusivity default has never worked
-That a header image can never be made as wide as the header menu bar– it is automatically sized down to a size that is shorterhmmmm, this is really very hard
RickYou do have the ability to force the header image. Personally, the stupid cart manager has never worked for me. I enable it and it is disabled again within minutes.
I could do without process images, just sending them to drafts … or having the keywording and categories part of process images and then sending them to published. It’s just a redundant time waster to have both. I can’t figure out how to hide just the image # above the pricing options. But, I could just be slightly retarded.
I think coupon codes are something that has come up repeatedly over the year. So, I’m sure people would like that.
Otherwise, I haven’t really played around with my site much lately. I’d love for it to look more “stockish” but I’ve been trying to focus on actually getting content and hopefully sales. This is definitely exciting to be involved in. Anything that can increase the speed and usability of the sites you can hack out of there in my opinion. 😉
You won’t be let down. 😀
May 6, 2014 at 3:40 am #10565This general stuff is good enough. The refined version is going to be much quicker and prettier…this stuff here is just helping me to know what I can scrap that nobody will miss.
May 6, 2014 at 2:08 am #10563Also noted. Keep them coming guys. This is really our chance to make this a polished gem, and remove the dross.
May 6, 2014 at 2:06 am #11054You all rock. I’ll be paying attention 😀 thanks for the effort so far.
May 2, 2014 at 10:52 pm #10862I certainly appreciate the thought! But right now I’m working on an income solution that will be running here on the islands, and that is what I hoped to have fund Symbiostock’s growth.
There is much I could say, but I’ll save it for another time.
May 1, 2014 at 9:25 pm #10858Hey guys, just jumping in.
I appreciate the concern for the project, by the way.
Actually my old-but-still-practical idea is to simply charge for the cloud version, which will take all the responsabilities of site setup OFF the user, plus integegrate a symbiostock-specific social network among customers and users.
The downside? I don’t have the time I used to to develop.
So – people like you remain FREE. People who are on the cloud who don’t have to do anything but simple uploading and publishing pay a monthly fee.
April 30, 2014 at 7:45 am #10917That is correct 🙂
April 30, 2014 at 5:55 am #10921Note – to avoid confusion I’ve merged both threads to this one. All the “email doesn’t work” subject is here now.

4 people down, 6 up. For those of you who are down, please set me up with an admin account (leo[at]symbiostock.com) and we’ll get this straightened out.
Hello everyone – I’m going to post on both threads in case anyone missed it.
I asked for people to set me up with an admin account so I could troubleshoot their sites. The only person who set me up I tested, and it seems things are working.
In the meantime, I’m going to send out a mass-email via this forum and get everyone tuned in.
Leo
April 29, 2014 at 3:52 am #10985I’m glad to hear you got up and running again. Especially grateful to JoAnne and anyone else who is helping at this time. Right now I’m working full time on other things, so I appreciate you all working together.
As for the few that sent me some admin accounts, I’ll be working on that soon.
April 28, 2014 at 9:52 am #11000Willkommen! I’m pretty sure there are a few german speakers who visit here – they should be able to help you no problem.
