I send few messages to people using their contact form but never got copy on my mail or reply. You all better check your contact form if it works fine.
Maybe I’m missing something – do I have above problem because of FREE version and no special plugin to indexing images?
The hell, it doesn’t work, indexing stuck completely… 😡Now my Sys works only as public gallery (after direct linking), with no positioning sense. IF I sell something, it will be by accident.

It’s not big difference here if you set up $ 1 or 2 or 5… If you want to feel changes, make it 10 or 20 or 50 … for start.

Site is set up since February, (over 1700) images have unique titles and descr., site maps sent… After 3 months none of my images are indexed, zero, null, nothing… Something must be wrong with my site. All you said above is done.

So how is it? You pay for gear, for photo sessions, products, tickets (travel), model release (people), pay for program (like PS or LR), electric power during work, pay for knowledge, set up your Sys site (not for free), it’s all cost. Taking photos takes time, set up web site takes days, weeks, months (with SEO, etc). You have unique images and maybe exclusive on your site…
After all, do you think your work is worth only 1-2$ ?? 🙄 In royalty free licese?!
With full respect, but how can you, people, say you are professionals if giving your work for so low pricing (it is almost giving away for free)? It’s not another microstock with milions identical “tomato isolated”. You have valuable work for sale.
Wondering why our market is broken? Guess why…
If YOU don’t respect your work, why do you demand others (clients) to respect it?Just thinking… only asking.

And I am wondering too… Many authors start with $1 which is some surprise for me. This is not another SS, iS or FT to sell images for nothing (you must pay the charge to paypal, right?). Same here! 👿 I was to lazy to open file in PS… Many images data are bad now.
I have the same problem but I was preparing files with IPTC for Alamy mostly and so I didn’t use commas. That makes one big keyword 😉 Now I have to re-edit and fix all my 1,6k files…

It destoyed all my descriptions as well. So we can’t use any special marks.While setting my Sys site I did research in microstock pricing to see how can I set my own prices. I was surprised to see so many people here set $1-2 for DL 😯 Some have unique and great images (I mean really great!) and set own site just for $1? I call it charity, sorry I’m honest 😉 😕
After long calculations I’ve set $13 for the smallest size. I was wondering if it’s to much but hey, I sell images with Alamy (for example) and RF sales are about $70 ($20-$200). And it’s nothing unusual.
I think 10-20$ if fair price for images with high quality. And one more thing, I’m removing my images from micros cheap and low earnes. Most of my images are available only with my Sys, Alamy and other self pricing or macro sites. For me there’s no big sense to waste time, gear, work and costs for only 1-5$/ DL. I feel really bad with that poor cents… Maybe beacause I’m not doing mass?For me micro pricing is over.

This building looks like in Poland, rusty, old, dilapidated… I never take photos of that ruins because I think it’s too dirty, bad, ugly to sell… I have a lot of work to catch up now 😉Do you know (how do we know) how did client find it? Where’s client coming from?
My English is too poor to write easily, but I read and understand so I’m here often. I learn, improve and enjoy, so don’t stop, don’t ask, just talk here, you guys! 🙂
This is just a beginning, be patience 😉Btw. I’ve done some article about Sys (general info) in Polish lang. Some stockers are asking me how to set up Sys, as they don’t know EN. I’m planning to do another article in PL and help them how to do this, how to set their Sys sites… They work with stock agencies for few years and still don’t know English at all 😀 It won’t bring them here, but Sys will grow, I guess 😉 This forum helps me with a lot of fresh informations, and it’s motivating to try.

I used to upload my first images to free stock sxchu or something like that. It was years ago, images taken every day, thousands of downloads… and I will not do that ever again.Giving your work for free you give worse quality and you show you can work… for FREE!
I’m definitely not interested, and I don’t think that’s the way my work should go, so thanks.
