No worries – as always, the best way to show your appreciation is to help the project out by giving us a positive review on WordPress:

    Hi Vortex:

    1) Please ensure that after you update the prices on the license, you click on the ‘Update Prices’ checkbox and click submit.
    2) Please ensure that your cron job is running the processor every minute.

Depending on how many images you have, this should eventually complete. It should not take more than a few days for sure. If you have done the above and it is still not working please PM me your login information.

Keyword searching is not a part of WordPress – Symbiostock adds this functionality but takes about 24 hours to spider new products and add them to the search engine. So it will search the keywords/tags eventually.

Thanks for bringing this up Valentin. Here is the breakdown of the issue and the resolution:

    1) Your media is embedding the keywords within the Subject metadata, and embedding a truncated version of it on the Keyword metadata field. Symbiostock prioritizes the Keyword field over the Subject one.

    2) Secondly, your keywords are stored as strings rather than arrays, for some reason.

    The fix in 3.2.4:

    1) Within your Symbiostock > Settings > Media tab, you now can arbitrate which field is prioritized for the keyword field. In your case I have put Subject as the arbitrated keyword field.

    2) We’ve added an additional check that converts string based embedded keywords into tags for WordPress as long as they are separated by commas.

I have uploaded a test file and confirmed it works. Please give it a go yourself and confirm.

    Hey Valentin,

Can you PM me your login information and I will take a look at your files to see what’s going on. No one has ever reported issues like the ones you are experiencing so I will try to determine why it is happening.

It should already be there. IMO it should be in:

    /public_html/wp-content/uploads/ss_media/new

You should definitely not manually create it. Just look around once you FTP in and you should be able to find it.

If it works when you upload via the browser, and not via ftp, that means you’re not uploading your files to the correct location via FTP. On the ‘Upload Media’ page you should see the location of where the files are supposed to be uploaded.

Without shell_Exec you won’t be able to write metadata and some reading may be limited, but other than that you should experience no issues.

    Hi Bartolomeo,

Those errors are just warnings – please ignore them and disable error reporting in your WordPress install. Your images are being parsed perfectly and there is no issue based on what you have provided.

Just follow George’s help with regards to the cron processor and you’re good to go.

    Hi Valentin,

Have you added the processor to your cron job in cPanel?

Are you sure you’ve uploaded files to the correct place for uploads? Can you try using the web uploader on the media upload page?

There is no reason why it should not be working.

    Hi Steve,

The update licenses checkbox only affects whether the license is applied or not applied – it re-applies the filters for that license, in essence. It does not update pricing.

You need to click on the update prices checkbox if you want the prices to get updated, and check both if you want the license both re-filtered and the prices updated on applicable products.

Yes – now that the processor is running, everything should smoothly work. Your images should be auto added and licenses auto applied.

    Hey Valentin,

Under the Installation guide for Symbiostock Hosting:

    http://www.symbiostock.com/setup-installation-guide

scroll down to Install Symbiostock and then go to #8. This will assist you in getting the cron job running so that your store’s engine gets going.
