It would be extremely difficult to manage this – however, here is a suggestion I can make.
As it works via FTP, you could actually create a folder on your own install (ie /ftpuploads) and within that directory create subdirectories for the agencies you want to submit to. You could even run an FTP server off your own computer (http://www.xlightftpd.com/).
So, once you have your FTP server good to go, create subdirectories for the different non-ftp agencies such as ‘istock’.
Then, add this as an agency in your Symbiostock Submitter list, and set the ‘remote directory’ to ‘/ftpuploads/istock’, for example. Then the submitter will automatically populate that directory with what needs to be submitted as you add files.
Then, whenever you manually do submit those files, just delete them. That way only new ones will remain and you can deal with them manually at your leisure.

You have insufficient memory with your web host.
Symptoms: You run the processor and do not see all the resulting boxes. Once error reporting is enabled you see a memory issue or you see a script timeout error. Both of these are due to your server not being able to handle processing your media.
Solutions: Contact your web-host to upgrade, or move to Symbiostock Hosting.
You have a media file that is corrupted waiting to be processed.
Symptoms: Once error reporting is enabled, you get weird Imagick or GD errors that suggest the media file in question is corrupted. This is preventing the processor from ever getting through the process.
Solutions: Go into your ss_media/new directory and delete the file in question.
You are uploading your new images to the wrong directory via FTP
Symptoms: You upload media via FTP and it does not get processed by the processor. However, when you upload media via the web uploader, it shows up.
Solutions: Under your Symbiostock > Upload Media tab you have the correct path to your upload directory. Disable your cron, upload a file via the web uploader, and hunt for it in your FTP file system. Once you find it, that is where you should be uploading all your new media.
You are running your site through a CDN or cache service to save on bandwidth and increase speed
Symptoms: When you manually run the processor, it tends to work, but the cron does not. There is no easy way to test this problem aside from temporarily disabling the CDN and seeing if the processor starts working. In this case, the cron is being served a cache’d version of the processor which is not triggering the original processor.
Solutions: Disable your CDN for your processor URL, or entirely for your entire site.
Your site is being run through SSL and there is some problem with the way the cron is calling your processor
Symptoms: When you manually run the processor, it tends to work, but the cron does not. There is no easy way to test this problem aside from temporarily disabling SSL or changing your cron URL to non-SSL and seeing if the processor starts working. In this case, you will have to contact your web-host to determine why this is happening.
Solutions: Disable SSL, contact your webhost, or move to Symbiostock Hosting.
August 25, 2016 at 7:09 pm #27720August 25, 2016 at 10:54 am #27718Please PM me your WP login info along with your FTP info and I’ll try to run some tests to figure out what’s going on.
It appears to me that your web host is blocking URL requests from non-browser sources (such as a cron system). This would explain why your processor is not being triggered and would also explain why Symzio is not properly connecting. But once I get your information I’ll be able to know more.
August 24, 2016 at 9:11 pm #27712PM me your processor URL and I’ll add it to one of our cron systems for you. You should never be manually running it on a regular basis – nothing will work properly.
I’ve tested everything on 4.6 and encountered no issues, so it is most likely this.
Edit: Actually, try using a service like this – https://www.easycron.com/ or another service that can do it for you. Will be easier as you can maintain control.

Also ensure you are waiting about a minute before processing so the file gets processed.
August 22, 2016 at 4:38 am #27700August 21, 2016 at 7:01 pm #27697Hi there,
Thank you for the detailed information. The way Symbiostock works is as follows:
1) Add EPS files first
2) Once EPS products are created, you upload the JPEG version as an alternate file for each EPS file. You can do this by editing the product and seeing the ‘Upload Alternate JPEG’ area which tells you how to do this. You can also do this via FTP using the instructions there. At the current time, for EPS files, as far as I know unless you are able to store metadata in the EPS, you will have to manually add the metadata to each vector. We may add a feature whereby you can make Symbiostock use the Alternate JPEG’s metadata to override the product information, but all in all this workflow is not too bad. It may be some work initially but once your store is set up adding new products should not be troublesome at all.
August 20, 2016 at 10:21 pm #27693Hi Star,
Vectors are uploaded the same as JPEGs – you just put them in your ss_media/new folder and the processor will add them.
So, firstly, have you added the Symbiostock processor to your system’s cron system?:
