    Hi Pablo,

Try to upload using FTP, not the web browser. As notified on the upload page, usually large files will not work well using the web upload form, and this could be the source of the issue. Please try to upload using FTP and see if it resolves the problem.

This is a limitation of how uploads work in browsers, and also with WordPress in general.

    Hi there,

I am helping you with the video debugging in the other thread. As for a front end for vendors, when used with WooCommerce vendors you then use that to deal with user registrations etc, and so Symbiostock Vendors works underneath it. As for the pricing question, this is entirely a WooCommerce question and you should direct those questions to the WooCommerce forum as once Symbiostock creates a product, it has nothing to do with the sales process or front end display.

    Hi Pablo,

    Thanks for your questions.

    1) The notice is irrelevant, please do not worry about notices or warnings.

    2) The video previews not working is a complex issue – are you using Symbiostock Video? Have you successfully tested and uploaded a video without vendors? Did you try using the video diagnostic tool and does that successfully work for you?

    Hi V,

Please don’t worry about the template warnings – they are generally not relevant and unless you experience issues in using our products with the recommended version of WooCommerce, there should be no issue. All of our users that use Symbiostock Express seem to be doing so without issue so it should be fine. But you are correct – it is generally recommended not to upgrade WooCommerce beyond the recommended version we advise as there may be unforeseen issues that kick up.

    Thanks. 🙂

    Hi Tamas,

This appears to be an issue with your hosting environment, as my best guess. It could be a memory issue when the script runs, or it could be a disk space issue. I would recommend you disable the processor for a time and try running the processor manually with that same EPS uploaded and see if any errors pop up. I would also recommend you check to ensure disk space is not an issue. Further, I would contact your web host to inquire as to whether they can see if resource usage is weird with your site.

EPS processing requires huge amounts of memory and CPU, and most cheaper hosting environments cannot adequately support this.

Hi there – the front end is governed by WooCommerce and your theme – unfortunately this is not controlled by Symbiostock and so there is no support we can provide in that regard. I would suggest you contact the theme developer or see if there is documentation on it.

Hi there – can you explain what you mean by that? If you want to add a Symbiostock product, you upload a media file via the web uploader or you follow instructions to upload it via FTP (preferred method) and the Symbiostock processor will automatically add it. Do you have the processor running via your system’s cron/scheduler?

Hi there – Express is a theme, not a plugin, so try uploading it as a theme. Submitter should not pose the same issue. Please try submitter again to see if it happens.

    Hi Eduardo,

    Thanks for the questions.

    1) I am not certain why your licenses are not appearing as a drop down. Can you try a fresh separate test install and do the procedure again, but change no settings whatsoever, and upload a test image to see if the list still appears as a drop down?

    2) With Symbiostock, you do not add products yourself. The Symbiostock processor adds images automatically from the upload folder as designated in your Symbiostock settings. When they are uploaded there, and Symbiostock processes them, then they are added as Symbiostock products. Otherwise you are creating non-Symbiostock products, and they will not work with Symbiostock.

As for licensing, you should never have to manually add or remove licenses except in special circumstances. Use the filtering systems with the licenses to auto-apply them to whatever you want. If you do want to manually do this, within the license edit page, you need to un-check the auto apply licenses option, in which case they will neither be removed or added to a product.

Hi Liman – we’ve reset your downloads for both products and re-sent you the download emails. Please let me know if you continue to have issues accessing them, and again, I apologize about the delay in resolving your issue.

    Hi NJ,

Unfortunately this is an operating system issue and is far outside the scope of Symbiostock support – you see, Symbiostock runs on top of not only WordPress, but the whole platform runs on top of whatever processor you have (Apache, NGINX etc). Further, Symbiostock does not have any special folder structures – it stores everything in your wp-content/uploads directory, so as long as that works flawlessly with WordPress in general, it will work fine with Symbiostock as well.

I think you have outlined the issue correctly in the sense that despite sharing the folder as you are, somehow PHP is not seeing it or accessing it in a way that allows WordPress and its plugins to manipulate data within it. So this concerns the relationship between PHP, your operating system, and the way these folders are being shared with it all.

Sorry we are not able to assist in this regard, but it is a significantly complex issue that has little to do with Symbiostock. Regardless, please feel free to post any questions or progress and we will try to pipe in in any way we can to try to help you get your system setup as you want it.

Hi Graham – yes, we’ve never seen this issue before so it may be a problem with the new version. Thanks for letting us know, and welcome aboard. 🙂

    Hi Graham,

I don’t fully understand the issue you have experienced, but based on what you’re saying, am I to understand that you already had products in WooCommerce and then installed Symbiostock on top of that? As far as I understand it, you would need to re-upload these images for Symbiostock to consider them Symbiostock products. Have you done that?

Yes, we do upgrade the plugin as is necessary. There is no need to downgrade and if you do upgrade you may experience unforeseen issues but our current release is very stable with the recommended versions.
