Hey Ozgur,
I would follow what Cristina recommends and put your analytics ID in the Symbiostock Express settings. Give it a day or two to populate. If after a few days it still does not start feeding you data, let me know. Also, let me know after you’ve added it and I’ll check your site to ensure the tracking code is visible.
As for SEO, I would recommend not using the Symbiostock Express SEO. Just try to use one SEO program, whether it be All in One, Yoast, or the Add Meta Tags one. As these are all third party systems I can’t provide expertise advice on it, but right now I am using Add Meta Tags on my site.
If you see any other popular plugins you’d like in Symbiostock PLUS, just let me know and I’ll look into it as well.
June 1, 2015 at 4:33 pm #23362The best way to do something like this would be to create your own page then add it to a menu.
I assume you’re talking about an information page explaining the cookie/privacy policy? Such things are controlled by WordPress so it may be good to look into ready made privacy policies provided by WordPress users:
https://www.themelab.com/how-to-make-a-wordpress-privacy-policy/
You can use this method to add any information pages you want, including terms of use, privacy, even a policy referring to if users want to get refunds or if they want custom work.
Also, regarding the EU cookie law, it seems they’ve made it so you don’t need explicit consent anymore:
http://www.thedrum.com/opinion/2013/01/30/ico-change-cookie-law-takes-biscuit
http://silktide.com/the-stupid-cookie-law-is-dead-at-last/
It appears (although I’m not the legal reference, but based on what I’ve read) that all you need to do is inform customers that your website uses cookies, etc, and in doing so you become compliant. You should double check this to ensure that is the case however.
May 31, 2015 at 10:43 am #23359Hey ozgur – I’ll let Dawn answer your questions, but in the meantime, you may want to order your licenses:

Welcome aboard!

I see you downloaded the importer. Once it is activated on your server, follow these instructions:
http://www.symbiostock.org/docs/symbiostock-importerexporter/
We changed our documentation links so the link you had pointed to does not work. This is the same document, however, and outlines how to successfully import everything.
Secondly, the Symbiostock Importer/Exporter and new Symbiostock should not affect your current site. If you deactivate them both, everything should be fine.
Thirdly, if you have Imagick installed, Symbiostock should work fine. We were having datacenter issues earlier today so I wasn’t able to respond to your queries but can help you out now. You can private message me as well if you continue to experience issues.
May 27, 2015 at 1:53 am #23326May 27, 2015 at 12:46 am #23324Hey Guy!
Porting Symbiostock so that it can use Imagick binaries is on the list, but this is not something that will be done for quite some time (months). It basically involves recoding a large number of functionalities in the core of Symbiostock, and doing this along with sufficient testing for a release is a large endeavor.
The WordPress plugins you see do not install Imagick – what they do is alter WordPress so that instead of using the built in GD library to resize images and what not, they use Imagick as Imagick is superior in quality and speed.
The only way for Imagick to be installed on your server is through the Linux distribution – it cannot be ported as a standalone application with a plugin.
The best alternative I can suggest, which is not me promoting a paid service we offer, but rather offering you an economical option, is our PLUS services. We have many artists already using it and along with not having to setup the scheduler and dealing with these Imagick issues, you will have access to bonus features such as our free agency submission tool. Also, once video is added to Symbiostock, it will first be run on the PLUS servers.
Again, I wish there was some way to easily rectify the issue with Imagick, but given the limited development resources we have, we have to dedicate them to very specific tasks in a specific order. Right now it is video and the upcoming Symzio that is being prioritized.
Let me know if I can help in any other way.

You definitely don’t want the ‘original domain’ redirect since you want it to go to innerstock.com. So the question is whether you want people to be able to access it through innerstock.symbiostock.com as well as innerstock.com, or just innerstock.com.
I would say you should pick #2 so that you must use the mapped domain. This will prevent duplicate content for Google.
May 21, 2015 at 7:04 pm #23302See, what’s so awesome about this plugin is it uses your image tags, description and keywords to create the proper tags. But you can also add global ones so you steer the content towards your overall content.
I just viewed source on one of your images, for example, and the Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords look great.
Mind you, I did not create this plugin, so you must check to make sure it does everything you want – make sure the settings are what you want because I can’t attest to ensure that it doesn’t have bugs.
It does seem to have good reviews, and I am using it on my site.
A good way to check is to ‘view source’ on any product page – look for <title>, meta description, and meta keywords. These are the main things. Also make sure it is not putting a ‘noindex, follow’ tag anywhere you don’t want it to. I just checked and the settings default to adding it to search results. I will leave it like that on my site so Google follows but does not index my search engine.
May 21, 2015 at 11:28 am #23299Hi Sharon,
If Imagick is installed on your machine, it must then be added to your php.ini to ensure it is enabled. You do so by adding the:
extension=imagick.so
Line to your php.ini file then restart apache. You must ensure it is installed, however, as if you run this without it being installed apache will fail and you will have to remove the line then restart it again.
If you want assistance with this, let me know. Also remember that Imagick can be installed as a command line on your server without the PHP functions enabled – if your host did this then it won’t work. But if they did in fact install the PHP Imagick libraries, you should be good to go once it is enabled.
May 20, 2015 at 10:54 pm #23296May 19, 2015 at 4:14 pm #23288I have actually recently switched to Add Meta Tags which I think may be simpler and actually better than the other two.
See, there are mainly three different SEO components you want on every page: title, meta description and meta keywords. I know a lot of people say the keywords are useless, but in my personal experience it is still used by search engines.
Currently, WordPress does the titles just fine – it uses your product title.
But meta descriptions and keywords are not done that well with Yoast.
This plugin does it automatically very nicely – it uses your tags for keywords and uses your content for the meta description, and you don’t have to do anything.
It also gives you a very similar level of control to the way I used to program my own sites in the past.
So I would recommend using this for your image site. It is enabled on the PLUS server.
