Ah I didn’t try to actually register. Just tried it now but the login screen goes to a blank screen. I get the feeling this is a version conflict. I think that is the cause but I don’t know. I Would suggest disabling all the plugins/deleting and then try again. I can’t think of anything else off hand.
I would agree with Christine and also just remove and re-add the Symbiostock theme and Premium plug in if you have that. It could also just keep the same settings even after installing. Nothing like trying.

Just created a test user account. Got the email with password but get a white screen too when login in as test user.
Ok, so I’m not an expert BUT I have been online for over 15 years. When I go to your site in Internet Explorer 9 I get the blank white window which is off the side of the browser. IF you use Chrome (Web Browser from Google) the login window looks fine and works. It also works fine in Firefox.
So I’m guessing either some code is a little screwy on your site or this is a bug. It could also be a mix of older theme with a new plugin or such.
I’m on the new theme and my login window works fine on all browsers and it looks the same as yours does… yours just doesn’t work in IE9.
As for the solution… I’ll leave that to people that know LOL!

Jo, you have got some great images!
Thanks very much! So far it is really mostly just what I specifically shot for Stock. Once I’ve got things organised I want to start adding other RM stuff. I started out with this lot of images around May. These have been my tester images to check things out in the Micro Stock field.
I had a look at your site now and you have some terrific images. You have a great eye for striking composition 🙂

Oops yes, Christine, I wanted to say featured Images.
And you are right, I could just shorten the titles, but isn’t there a way to get search, login, and contact back to top, right of the Logo?
I don’t think you can get it to the right of the logo but you can split it and put it above the logo if you prefer.
Go to your dashboard then click on, Appearance > Customize > Symbiostock Nav Menus > Separate Search/Account Menu. Yes puts the search slot and login on a separate bar at the top of the page above the logo like on my page.

October 10, 2013 at 9:02 pm #4212I read about it recently. It is free if used to buy within the USA. For me every transaction will be international.

There’s a thing that hasn’t been probably mentioned but I believe is really irritating for a customer.
When a customer clicks on the prices next to a photo (not even clicking download) the image automatically adds to the shopping cart. It’s really quite irritating when a customer only wants to see a full price, for instance for the extended licence. A better idea would definitely be to have a button “Add to the cart” and only after clicking that, the image would be added to the cart.Is there now any way to make it work like this ?
Yes, this I do agree with too. Plus you can add stuff into your cart without realising it.

Ask people first? Not sure who would even be a good match. I suppose someone with similar type of photos?

October 10, 2013 at 5:11 pm #4190Thanks very much! I think tonight I need to go research how to connect with other sites. That side of things I’m a little hazy on. Who adds whom?

Well thats quite simple. I just enrolled Symbiostock and it worked. I only update to stable versions. I dont use clean theme, I dont use Syxtra widgets, and I dont fiddle with code. I keep a very basic simple site. I just upload and thats it. I never experienced any major issues from the start. It all just worked, a few small glitches here and there, but thats it.
Well, now we know the secret to your success! Thanks for clearing that up. It’s been most informative and helpful.

Hahaaa, I see whats going on here. My words got twisted for a third time. I never said Symbiostock is buggy. Yeah, I better shut up all together. I’ll just keep uploading and selling images from my perfectly working Symbiostock site. 🙂
Since your site is running perfectly please don’t shut up! Please tell us all how you have achieved this. It would be most helpful and in keeping with the mood on Symbiostock 😉
October 9, 2013 at 8:55 pm #4088I agree that it’s probably better to hide the beta stuff from the public. Still, transparency is not such a bad thing. It might scare off people but to be honest, EVERYTHING has bugs in this day and age because on the trillions of possible permutations.
Software contains bugs even in a final format. Only way to work out bugs is through testing. If no one wants to test then there is no way to better a system. I’m willing to test beta software like Symbiostock as long as serious bugs are fixed quickly and not a year down the line.
I know I am in the minority but I would rather know about beta’s and development and the bugs than be kept in the dark so I’m on the fence with keeping the bug reporting private.
