You got it!
October 31, 2013 at 7:38 pm #6597Hey guys –
Semmick – that is on my near-to-do list.
Matt – also being addressed soon. (Thanks for the concern ! :D)
Its not just about me – there are a few bigger contributors who have to start seeing more for their effort. I’ve benefited enough to justify work on this — I’m referring to the others who run sites for Symbio.
Symbiostock might have to coast for a while while it gets bigger, and when there’s a level of “mass” necessary and I believe every major contributor to the code/community/analytics should have a way of monetizing their work. I’ve stated before that the money does not necessarily even have to come directly from the contributors.
Also regarding size – we’ve achieved a level of stability, and this network has gotten bigger than I can personally keep up with. Also a certain “big” player thinks Symbiostock should be really “eeeasy”, when in fact its silly to think having your own personal istockphoto should be completely free of complexities like turning on the microwave.
At this time I’m splitting my time between Symbio, illustration work, and learning C++ as its necessary for an invention I’m working on. (PHP has brought me 80% of the way there thankfully).
What I envisioned for Symbiostock was a community that runs itself. To a large degree thats been realized, but I’m finding that when inexperienced people attempt a Symbio-startup, its quite punishing for them. And yet it can’t be simplified more without taking away certain advantages like extendibility and flexibility.
Also being in front of the computer 14 hours a day tends to be very unhealthy. I went on a hike the other day after a month’s grind on Symbio, and my legs hurt the next day, which shows I’ve been going backwards again. I spent the day in bed yesterday incapacitated due to other issues that come up when I’m not getting exercise. Its a tough balance to say the least.
I have to catch up on quite a few emails today, but just letting everyone know things are good – aside from a few minor adjustments I think we are there.
October 30, 2013 at 5:16 am #6486I’ve tried those before without success. I’d love to know if anything has changed.
October 27, 2013 at 11:45 pm #6389PS – try to say the word “Specificity” three times without messing it up.
October 27, 2013 at 8:52 am #6328I read the whole thing and loved it!
October 26, 2013 at 4:17 am #6179And you can download it from the link if its not showing as an upgrade in your admin area.
October 26, 2013 at 4:16 am #6178I’m not sure why everyone is talking about Pro!
2.9.4 changes the “similar images” issue. That was the only real issue for the new WP.
October 26, 2013 at 4:06 am #6175That makes sense. Keep the cart plugin off unless you need it until I give it more attention.

I see references to Symbiostock Pro 1.2.5 but I’m not showing an update link in my plug ins. I’m still on 1.2.3. Do we need to update to 2.9.3 Symbiostock (or is it 2.9.4 with the above link?) to see the pro upgrade option?
This update was for the base version to be compatible with WordPress 3.7. I didn’t see anything wrong with the premium version.
October 26, 2013 at 2:09 am #6170The similars issue is fixed. Simply update or get it from the above link.
October 25, 2013 at 9:12 pm #6204Hi! Hopefully people have a sense of humor 😀
Its quite likely just that – backlinks are spam flags. Which emails in particular are we asking to change?
October 25, 2013 at 9:00 pm #6202Yes, be sure not to have pictures of Viagara and blog post regarding how to make money working at home.

The other problem was it only shows 10 thumbnails per gallery.
I don’t use the term “gallery” can you show me an example? Do you mean search results?
October 25, 2013 at 8:45 pm #6155Is there any other problems with the new wordpress? Please let me know so I can make ALL the adjustments. So far I’m only aware similar images are affected. Let me know so I can take care of all of it today.
October 25, 2013 at 8:44 pm #5990Its just a typical adjustment I have to make due to wordpress evolution. Was hoping to get to it today.
