If that is the general consensus I’m going to take some time to put together a good tutorial on it, as a final touch to people’s site’s performance now that everyone is nicely familiar with things.
Without these things my site undergoes melt-down due to spammers ( get hundreds of them an hour brute-forcing my site)
February 13, 2014 at 8:01 am #9582I actually like Mr Fox search Mr Fox, does it great:
This is all cussed up!
This is going to be one, big cluster-cuss.February 13, 2014 at 12:40 am #9633I’ve always thought you could reverse market. Find out what they are selling, make photos of their products, and respond to them all in mass email.
February 12, 2014 at 10:04 pm #9497BTW Ron’s problem is solved now. Uploads work again 😀
February 12, 2014 at 9:42 pm #9499I’ve heard this cute illustration:
1. A hound that sits around all day sleeping, only gets up to eat. A thief could walk in and take off with the TV and he wouldn’t even bark.
2. A fire alarm that goes off every time you make bacon.Annoying though it is, at least you know when there is a real fire the alarm will let you know.
February 12, 2014 at 8:02 am #9611Thanks THP (and if I never publically apologized then I should do it now…)
Twitter is going to be a *big* part of Symbiostock, so get used to it!
This version is fairly ironed out…simply authenticate yourself in the twitter screen, then set up your daily twitter queue (or just tweet images one by one)
Be sure to choose in the main twitter screen which type of post you wish to make: preview, minipic, or link.
Twitter has some amazing advantages beyond being cute and saying what you had for breakfast. You just have to know how to “work it”.
For now we’re just tossing in our little in is good, but eventually Symbiostock will really be rocking twitter with a few more implementations on the way.

image uploading goes well here and answer to Leo at e-mail about NEW image processor: I like the way Deepmeta works; could there be something like that for us too?
Why, what does it do that you like?
February 11, 2014 at 2:06 am #9512Ok, still waiting on hear from Semmick too. I’m not discounting it could be Symbiostock’s side. I have to find out just what is causing it.
February 11, 2014 at 1:52 am #9510I just checked it out — yours processes a small version but not a big one.
I reverted back a few versions (on your site) and the large size still does not process. I deactivated all of your plugins, and the problem remained.
Since you two are speaking up at the same time, can you verify that nothing changed in your php.ini files (memory limits or whatever)

Same here, just uploaded 67 images and upgraded to the latest versions but the image processor is no longer working. Just nothing happens.
If you don’t mind giving me admin priveleges I can check it out.
February 11, 2014 at 12:46 am #9507There have been no changes to the image processor but let me know if this is being experienced commonly on the new version.
February 10, 2014 at 9:03 pm #7793Hey there, and thanks for the heads up.
Although I don’t suggest this plugin (because it can interfere with Paypal) it’s priceless:

Be sure to add these to your whitelist:

February 9, 2014 at 9:43 am #9458FIXED you should be set now.
February 9, 2014 at 9:33 am #9457Fixed it! I found the problem.
I have it set up that if google doesn’t return a shortened link it aborts (that way you don’t post an orphan image to twitter)
I’m just going to find out what was causing it to give a false negative and then re-upload. Other than that it should work great and you’ll enjoy the changes.
February 9, 2014 at 9:25 am #9455Thank you for telling me. I’ll check it out right away. its possible the Google API is not recognizing things from your site for reasons of limitations. I’ll fix it asap.
