Processing images seems a lot smoother since version 3.0/3.2
    Thanks for that!

I’m about to convert my site from the old legacy site to the new Symbiostock.
I knew I had to invest time but couldn’t forever remain using the old SY. Meanwhile, deciding to use SY or grfx, was no longer necessary

My first steps were to try to migrate a few images with the plugin after installing WooCommerce en Symbiostock on my testsite. Then I examined the functionality of the Symbiostock: The old SY has done a good job but this is a great improvement.
Finally changed a few things to suits my needs and redesigned my site.

I haven’t tried it but the Symbiostock Express theme could give you some quick results designing your new website. You can try Symbiostock Plus if the technical side is holding you back.

Hmm, you have the files uploaded with FTP? What happens when you put only two files in the upload dir and then process this two images?
The memory_limit value in the php.ini file might be set too low if you would process a large number of images. Mine is set to: memory_limit = 128M

Or it might be one particular image causing this error? Any special characters in the title/caption?

Does it work when you process only one or two images?

I also had this problem but don’t remember how I fixed it…
I do remember that a good starting point is to disable all other plugins, try the registration process again, see if it works and re-enable all the plugins one by one.

Thanks Robin! I sell some of my pictures through this agency with a RM license. I find this hard to implement on my own site and refer any traffic to this site.

I can understand what you meant by this unnecessary features in WooCommerce if you use it solely for selling images. But it sounds that you have a solution for different types of users. For those who do not want any technical challenges this hosted solution would be perfect! I myself, however, find it’s great to be working on my own site. As I’ve already offered Leo; if I can be of any help with testing, for example the conversion/migration tool of the current system, let me know. I have a test site running.

    Nice to meet you!

I really appreciate the further development of this project. Thanks!
Although I am unfamiliar with woocommerce I like the idea of SY as a plugin of an ecommerce store and the ability to use other existing plugins. Use what has already been created!

Although I am happy with SY as my portfolio, I finally got my first sale! 🙂 One medium sized, €6,50, to the Netherlands.

Let me know when you need something to be tested. I can replicate my site to a test environment.

Leo, good to hear from you again!

My website is running well for more than a year now, that is, technically. 🙂 Still very happy with the possibilities that SY gives me and remain enthusiastic about this project.

I have comments enabled but it is, strangely enough, not used by this spam users.

I had a regular captcha plugin installed, but that had no effect. I do not know anti-captcha and the technology behind it but it sounds good. Going to try it!

Otherwise, I create a mail rule to auto-trash this registrations.

[Edit] Amazingly small world, this plugin is created by a classmate of mine in elementary school.

I disabled all my plugins and then received the right e-mail! I re-enabled them in groups to find out that the ‘Stop Spammer Registrations Plugin’ is causing it.

I am so stupid! It is always a good idea to disable all your WordPress plugins first when you have a problem. This particular plugin intervenes in the registration process as SY does so I can’t use them both. 😡

My site has a lot of new-user-spam-registrations, that why I installed the plugin.
