I’m doing a clean up on my own site to align the pricing a bit more with the Symzio one. I currently have 4 sizes and an extended license and I wanted to keep the two small sizes at $0.99 and $1.99 and delete one of the two larger JPEGs – changing the price of the other. With so many images I don’t want to mess this up.
So – I think I need to delete the unwanted license in Symbiostock: Licenses. Then edit the price of the largest JPEG using Edit on that page. That will ripple through all my images with nothing else for me to do?
I’ll then remove the images from Symzio that are RM on other sites so that everything is clean.

December 29, 2015 at 3:46 am #25138Hi Robin
Sorry to bug you – I’ve been waiting to post a specific image from my site but use the Symzio version:
http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/image/sea-turtle-at-moloaa-beach-kauai-hawaii-2/
but my Symzio site has been stuck at 5912 for several hours – about 70 short of the total. Of course, this image is one that is missing. Happy to wait if that is all it is.

December 29, 2015 at 1:27 am #25133Hi Robin
Good to know I don’t have to repeat the process. I wonder if your pings are a little too close together (or if you need to have 3 pings) – I check my site with Pingdom and have no outages, although updating the plugins may have caused a small amount of downtime as you say. I can fully understand the need to make sure sites are up, but the various posts and tweets that I make that reference images on Symzio also expect that my images will be visible on the site otherwise those links break.
SteveDecember 28, 2015 at 9:16 am #25118I feel like I am well behind the learning curve here. How did you make the widget appear at the bottom of the product page and horizontal? I tried to add it to “Footer Column 1” but it appeared on the home page and in a vertical format.

December 28, 2015 at 9:03 am #25116While on this subject – I was checking the 404 reports in Yoast of site crawls that didn’t end up on a page. I have a lot that are of this form:
http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/image-type/transport-images/
Is this something that came across from the old Symbiostock design and is still in a google site map somewhere? If so, should I be trying to recreate that map? Is there anything in the new plugin that produces this sort of URL?
December 28, 2015 at 9:00 am #25115Great thanks!
I don’t have a Meta Keywords Template in my version – perhaps you have a premium version?Steve
December 28, 2015 at 8:21 am #25113Could someone with more experience of Yoast than I have explain how to fill in the title metadata, description metadata sections of the Titles and Meta section of Yoast? As Robin mentioned in a different post, none of mine have anything useful in them.

December 27, 2015 at 1:09 pm #25066Solved it. I added the social media sharing buttons from Jetpack plugin and then used those to share the image page on Facebook to the page controlled by me. I then get the image and the caption plus a click through to the original page on my stock site.
December 27, 2015 at 11:53 am #25065I’ve tried that just now, but I haven’t yet found a way to put a photo and a sample of the website on the page. I’ll have to investigate further before I get any followers!
December 27, 2015 at 3:29 am #25057Hi Dawn
I’ve made a start with mine:
https://www.facebook.com/backyardstockphotos/
Do you know if you can add a specific URL to the image in a post so that it opens the right page in my Symbiostock site?

December 24, 2015 at 7:08 am #25039Hi Robin
I think this is a good opportunity to simplify the pricing on my own site as well as for Symzio. What would be the steps to reduce the number of variants of file size for sale and adjust the pricing for my own site and for that to flow through to Symzio? Perhaps a little tutorial would help.

December 24, 2015 at 6:53 am #25038One update on the pricing/license question. The lady in question emailed me to ask if she needed to buy anything else to use it on a college year book with 150 copies. Obviously she was less sure of what license she needed to buy and just bought the biggest one. They are planning to sell the year book and so perhaps Extended was the right license choice.
I asked her how she found the image – google search on surfboards, she saw this one and went through to the page on my website.
Purchase was very smooth and easy and she will recommend me to anyone needing similar images!

December 24, 2015 at 1:22 am #25029On the GPS issue – I’m not sure that I would have put a GPS on this composite, but I’m not at home to check the original. In the media edit page, the GPS coordinate says: Warning: Illegal string offset ‘lat’ in /home/backya28/public_html/bsp/wp-content/plugins/symbiostock/admin-woo-product-edit-page.php on line 470
So, for now, I’m not sure if that was something I did.

December 23, 2015 at 4:46 am #25014I recall an earlier forum discussion about this, but it is something we need to tackle. I just tried to search for “cat” on Symzio – it works fine, returns lots of cats. On my own site, it returns lots of cathedrals and not a single photo of a cat.
