    Hi Robin

Sorry – but where is my Symzio Profile page? Do you mean I need to create one on my own site?

    Hi Robin

If it was my site you were struggling to crawl, I have updated the plugin to 2.1.4

This may not be exactly what you mean, but I create my category menu in a slider on the front page of my site (I do this is the Symbiostock Express menu in Home Layout under Custom Carousel settings. You need to upload an image that acts as the menu item and type in the category page, which on my site is http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/product-category/cities-places/

Each category that I create has its own page like this – I didn’t create them, they happen automatically. So one for Cats would be http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/product-category/cats/

Is that the sort of Category Product page you are looking for?

The new version of WooCommerce that is supported is 2.4.10 (with Symbiostock 2.1). I’m now seeing this warning message:

    <code style=”font-family: Consolas, Monaco, monospace; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; padding: 3px 5px 2px; margin: 0px 1px; font-size: 13px; word-wrap: break-word; color: #555555; line-height: 21.45px; background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0666667);”>symbiostock-express/woocommerce/single-product/price.php<span style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14.3px; line-height: 21.45px;”> version </span><span style=”font-weight: 600; word-wrap: break-word; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14.3px; line-height: 21.45px; color: red;”>1.6.4</span><span style=”color: #555555; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14.3px; line-height: 21.45px;”> is out of date. The core version is 2.4.9, </span>

Do we need an update to Symbiostock Express?

Do we need to get reapproved for the new Symzio. I could not see how to do that on the new website

Yes, I tried a VPN to the UK and that was OK and a friend in England also tried it successfully. Seems like my issues are behind me!

Thanks Antony – very strange! I’ll try to use a VPN and pop out into the internet somewhere else and try it. It works fine from my home.

Seems to be OK for me. Could you recheck?

Can it be done with a query in the database and set the appropriate field in the right table, or it is more involved than that?

    I’m hogging this thread today.

I saw that I could select a page worth of images and select the choice “sell on symzio”. However, I have 5800 images and that will take some time. Is there a way to do a broader selection. I have confirmed that I am complying with your QC requirements.

Phew – anxious few minutes. I was about to update the Symbiostock plugin manually and clicked on “deactivate” under Symbiostock. I think that caused my issues as every page gave me the error after that. To fix it, I did the following:

    1. FTP to the site and replace the Symbiostock folder with the one I was trying to upgrade to.

    2. Change the name of the Symbiostock-express theme (by adding “1”). This forces the site to revert to a default theme. At this stage, my admin site started working

    3. Then I changed the Symbiostock Express theme back to its correct name and activated it as my theme.

    4. Finally, I saw the Symbiostock plugin was not active and I activated that. Think I am OK now, but not at all sure why this happened.

    Hi Robin

I upgraded to 2.0.8, but didn’t check the site. Just now, I see that the admin page (when I try Symbiostock) and my public site is not accessible. I get Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /home/backya28/public_html/bsp/wp-content/themes/symbiostock-express/lib/post-types.php on line 3

I updated wordpress to the latest release as well, this morning.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Robin

I noticed that the Symbiostock update on my site has just updated me to 2.0.8. Is that a timing issue and the next time I go and check the latest one will be there?

    Hi Ron

I’m sure Robin would have responded in due course, but I’m sure he will say that he doesn’t provide support for the legacy system. I did the upgrade to the new one and it is working fine for me.

Great ideas – I just tweeted the first of my “holiday snaps” from Spain that are now on my symbiostock site under the tag #symbiostock
