Good to know, as a relatively novice person when it comes to WP, I struggle from time to time with distinguishing when something needs solving and when it´s just dust in the wind.
June 17, 2019 at 5:16 pm #34762Hi Robin.
No, I had no real reason for doing so, i was just trying (and still am) what the message “undefined index: ssv_32bit” meant, that i was finding in the log file. I don´t know when a server is 32bit and when it is not, I am hosting my site in Germany @ Hetzner.com
When is it needed and if you have selected it, does it need to be or can it be undone?August 15, 2018 at 12:59 am #32820I do have the latest versions of both plugins, but all new uploads via ftp show up as “out of stock” on my end, maybe this is not how it is meant to be but that is truly the case for me. Is there any change that the settings play a part int this role?
I am able to bulk tick the photos category but it does not look like I kan bulk “untick” the default “uncategorised” and if its on it will show up as a sub-category and looks silly to me.
I wish that there was a default setting that could be set for photos and videos but i guess that is not possible…July 13, 2018 at 5:30 am #32641FIXED ! (or so i think)
I went ahead and decided to take a small risk. I deactivated my Woocommerce plugin, that prompted a update to version 3.4.3. I went ahead and made the upgrade and what do you know, it fixed my problem. Now i am back to normal. But there are some new features in WC so I need to test and se if something is conflicting. But I would urge Symbio to test and upgrade their plugin to work with the latest WC. Maybe there was some conflict betweenWC and the 2.0 version of Elementor (page builder) and the OceanWP theme i am using.July 13, 2018 at 5:13 am #32640No Woocommerce was not one of them, it is still at version 3.0.7, however i think i recall some wocommerce related plugins that where updated, such as Wishlist, woocommerce Stripe Gateway maybe aswell. Sadly i did not take note of what went through, it was a bit distraced and realised i was not on my Staging site but on the live one. I made so many alterations that I would rather fix the problem then go back to the staging version.
June 29, 2018 at 6:50 pm #32592Problem solved..
The solution was to select “plain” under Permalink Common Settings. It used to be set to “post” but that stopped working as soon as I changed the names from characters to digits.. Don´t know why but its working now and that makes me happy 🙂June 29, 2018 at 6:55 am #32590A little discovery I made that might help someone figure out what the issue is. Currently my images are linked to a sub-category. My main category is called “photo” and within them i have lifestyle, landscape, citylife etc… if i for instance navigate to a image located in “citylife” that i can not view, when I untick the category it changes the slug to “uncategorized”. If i publish this change and visit the link then i can view the images in the shop.
But it I tick the subcategory again it goes back to “page can not be found”.is the issue with the sub category?
May 22, 2018 at 12:45 am #32442Through trial and error method I managed to solve my problem. The thing is that i was not supposed to chose the php path in the cpanel. When i deleted the /usr/bin/php* from the path I got the result I needed. Now the cronjob is running smoothly.
April 12, 2018 at 3:16 pm #32307LOL.. silly me. And that explanes a lot. I will move it to a new location 🙂
April 11, 2018 at 8:50 pm #32297I managed to install the video plugin manually by copying it to the plugin folder. But when I do the same with the Express plugin it does not show up in the plugin list inside the Dashboard. Should it be located elsewhere within wordpress folder.
