thanks robin, all fixed! the issue was that there was white space in the watermark, cause what we did was try to match the thumbnail size, with the watermark size (eg 1000 x 1000). just uploading the watermark itself, without the matched pixel size of the thumbnail fixed it.
Ahh right thanks for that. Can you do it manually if I follow the setup the registration page makes, as in how it makes one user admin of the other, or is it just better to use the registration form?
I’ll probably use the form anyway but it’s just good to know.
Okay looks like I have an update that isn’t documented anywhere in order to get this sorted.
The ONLY WAY I have found to get this to work, is by creating the vendor registration page by using this short code on a new page in wordpress [wcpv_registration] , then fill it out as a new vendor.
This will do a few things:
Create the user under wordpress admin > all users and assign them a “pending vendor” role
Under Symbiostock > Vendors it will create them a vendor user account here. It also adds the email address I created as an “admin” to the account within this vendors section, which is probably the part that I wasnt doing if I made it manually, yet isn’t documented anywhere.
Once this is done I was able to change them from pending vendor to vendor manager, then setup all their vendor specific settings.
I have yet to test any further but at least I have sorted this out!

I’m literally setting up a fresh site now. Should I wait for the vendors update or should I just implement now and upgrade it when its out? Was going to purchase tomorrow
I’d say you need to create a different license for those images so you can set the pixel orientation to be how you want it for that type of image. I’d need to check I’m fairly new to symbio but early Jan I’ll be diving in deep as I have a large site to setup using multiple vendors.try that first and see if it works. Testing in sandbox PayPal mode is best recommendation I can give you. Or set a payment method as cheque and you can check out and make sure it’s processing properly how you want it.

Ok that makes sense. It’s more of a vendor skill level and an ease of use thing more than anything.
I’ll be buying the vendor plugin after Xmas and firing it up!

Oh one thing I just realised is that vendors can only upload via ftp, is that right? That’s strange, what if they only have one image they need to upload? Is it because of the restriction and security of the vendor account you haven’t enabled this?
I think you just answered the main one which is ftp access assignment on upload by the user so that’s great.
When purchasing the plugin is all support done through the forum?

I’m really looking to see a demo of the vendor app or test it somehow. Is that possible?
I have 15 vendors ready to go but haven’t been able to find the right platform yet abd have been testing for a few weeks (symbio included). I’d honestly love to use symbio but want to make sure vendor app works!
wow! no response at all? I cant even talk to Robin via dm either! How can I possibly invest hundreds of dollars into an application that basically has no support? It’s a real shame, this product looks amazing but without support from the creator, it basically takes out all the confidence a buyer would have.
