I don’t think it is in use at the moment. It was something we could have used for sites like Picturengine – but that did not work. I am hoping it is on Leo’s vast to-do list

Congratulations on your first sale.

For future sales you could edit your sales confirmation email to read like an invoice/receipt, it would not have their details on it but you could add yours.

For this sale could create and send one based on the paypal details ?

When I need an invoice for something I have purchased I print off the Paypal details as that usually gives me all the details I need for my accountant.

I just do it it visually – in All Images you can show 100 images per page and just scroll down to see if there are any empty spaces

No idea, I could not even use 5.2 with some previous versions and had to revert to 5.1 – I don’t understand what they do so hopefully someone will come along who knows what they are talking about before long. Have you tried deactivating all your plug-ins and seeing if that helps?

Which version of Symbiostock are you using, V 2.9.4 is compatible with PHP version: 5.4 (it is with my setup anyway),

Paypal – easiest to just put an image to a low price and purchase it yourself with a second account or ask another member nicely if they will do it for you and then refund them. Some people manage to set up the sandbox but most of us try it “live”

I do not think it was actually a requirement, just a recommendation. Leo asked us which plug-ins we used the most as I gather he wanted to make things as easy as possible for new members

I had something come up early on (with spammers if I remember correctly and wanted to ban one) and also wanted to have some degree of security, then found it was great for seeing who visited and where they went and started recommending it to others.

Be very careful about adjusting the settings as it can be easy to lock yourself out of your site (then the easiest way back in is to delete Wordfence from ftp or cPanel)
