Need advice/help. Today I’m not able to access my dashboard, all that I get is an email sent by wordfence that say with a warning, an administrator account logged in and a blank screen. The site is the symbiostock site italytravelpictures.com don’t google it, it isn’t indexed. I can access to pixelsonthego dashboard in the same server, and the frontend of the site is up. From the cpanel I tried to switch the theme, (renaming the symbiostock theme and twentyeleven) but I’m still get the blank screen. Yesterday I worked on the site and all was fine, no new plugin installed it’s only a big surprise that I get today.
    Any idea?

I would try the following if you think it might be a Wordfence problem.

Go into your ftp or cPanel (the latter is quicker) and delete Wordfence, then log back into Symbiostock/Wordpress and if you are using any caching programmes delete your cache.

If that all works then reinstall Wordfence, if you get the WSoD again then delete Wordfence again.

I am not able to use it at all now on my test site as it locks me out but can use it on my live site.

I’m investigating. In chrome I get the blank screen and the mail that the admin user is logged in, but with both safari and FF I get another message, from the login page. I don’t recall the exact phrase, but it is a statement about enabling cookies. The cookie are enabled so now I’m searching what can be happened. I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think that the problem is wordfence. I tried through cPanel to disable all the plugin (renaming the folder) but I still got the blank screen…

one other suggestion – you have no imaes uploaded right now so load one which will trigger some of the other parts of the theme

Thank you cascoly, where you say to upload? symbiostock_rf_content?
Anyway I tried but not solved.
I think that the best way now is an email to Leo with all the data I can provide him.

I don’t think he can get in to admin at all though Cascoly. If I’m understanding it correctly.

I wonder if you somehow blocked yourself?

This happened to me very early on and it was related to me changing the WordPress Address URL and the Sitename Address URL in General Settings on the WP Dashboard.

Might this be the case for you?

    Thaks everyone.
@ dp69_2001 right I can’t log inmy dashboard so I can use the file manager in cPanel to upload files. I did but not fixed.

@russell, never changed the site address so this can happened only if some plugin changed for some reason saturday night after I’m logged out.

@christine the front end was always on line. I can not login in the back-end.

After the first post happened another thing. I get an error 501(?) unable to connect to the database. In this case also the front-end was down with the same message. But with a refresh of the browser has disappeared. I got this message only one time e never got another time.
I sent an e-mail to Leo hope he can fix the trouble!

I have just tried to register with your site and had the same problem – that reminded me of something. See if this helps you

Thank you Christine, now I’m not at home, this evening I’ll check all. After your post I tried to see the site but I get a blank screen also in the front end, so is something that I can’t understand. Also I get an e-mail with your registration, so it’s really a strange things.

Ok, I was able to enter in my cpanel, I tried to use twentythirden as symbiostock child and now the site and the dashboard is up. I played with the themes and I’m sure that symbiostock theme works fine, the problem is in child theme. This evening I investigate what goes wrong, I never customized css or php so it’s a strange thing. The most important fact is that now I can access to my dashboard.

I received the password but it was an automated one, not the one I chose, are you using V. 2.9.4 ?

I don’t remember exactly, but yes I think is the 2.9.4
Can you edit the password with one of your choice?
