Thanks Robin.
Is Symbiostock compatible with WP 4.8.3?
November 5, 2017 at 10:12 am #31562I got it back using a copy I made a while ago.
Thanks
April 13, 2017 at 9:31 pm #29767Do we speak of the same thing? There are many print on demand / print fulfillment service providers with woocommerce connection – you remain passive until a customer returns a product.
How is that handled with your print orders?
I have not found any others that integrate easily. So far all of the other ones I have found require set-up on an individual basis (each size for each image), which is way too time consuming.
Yes, returns would require intervention, but that can be handled by a third party if I am unavailable and would not be a labor-intense process.
Is there one that you know of that is easily integrated and mostly automated like fotomoto? If so, I would love to try them.
Thanks for your input!
April 13, 2017 at 6:10 am #29765I think this is neither fish nor meat. Technically it seems to be a plus but I think it’s a minus for your conversion rate. Why not create prints as native products? 1. You could include them on other platforms 2. you give the user the possibility to browse via related products at a glance – not behind a popup window.
I want/need it to be a passive procedure, I can not always be available to process the orders. Using the print link for FotoMoto does not give related products, only the one(s) they choose from my site are shown (in a popup, btw). The only choices they have there are print type and size.

Another suggested tweak. I noticed that my website shows up in my widget, which really shouldn’t happen. But as I said, great job!
November 8, 2016 at 12:26 am #28802Thanks Robin. Great job on the widget. I have been intending to add that link page for a while, but life happens and I just never was able to find the time. This was extremely quick and easy. I also found the answer to my question in this thread, but you might want to add it to the help, which is where the image for the link list comes from. I also agree that there should be a default, to get a consistent format. Maybe the avatar that you use here if no image is present?

Thanks for the input. When I saw your comments about the slider I realized that my initial attempts to make those images fit the slider were not very appealing. I then realized that it would make more sense to fit the slider to my images. Should have seen that from the beginning. That part is now fixed. I agree with the other comments also and will fix those later today when I get time.
I appreciate the feedback!
September 16, 2016 at 5:17 am #27963Thanks George, as you said it may help with the immediate need, and looks better than working on the live site, at least.
September 15, 2016 at 11:55 pm #27959George,Thanks for the thoughts. I am with you on the overwrite, and that was a consideration. I would not want to overwrite the database itself, just the WP and Symbiostock settings. That is what I am trying to figure out, how to get a test site exact clone set up, and then how to best put those changes into effect without risking my site but also not spending too much time tracking every change I make to get the test site right so I can make the same changes to my live site.
September 15, 2016 at 4:04 am #27948Robin,
It looks like they are updating, but at an extremely slow rate. Almost 6 hours and still not completed.
September 11, 2016 at 7:51 am #27886Thanks Robin.
If I add/update/delete in the primary will it work to do another sync, or will that mess up the clone? Can I add things like licenses and products, or does that need to be done in the primary, also?
September 3, 2016 at 7:56 pm #27770Robin,
A simple solution that I should have thought of myself, thanks!
