Hi Robin, thx. We saw Symbiostock Vendros is now available. Since we couldn’t really use Symbostock Pro for our means, we didn’t sell a penny yet. Thus I wonder if you offer us an upgrade rate from pro to vendors?
July 21, 2017 at 12:09 am #31094Robin, I was in touch with WooCommerce’s senior developer. They told me they never heard of a missing SKU.
We disabled Symbiostock a yes, SKU was there. http://prntscr.com/fy35pg
When I activate symbiostock lite, nothing happens and woocommerce uses its standard backend.
Symbiostock pro changes the backend fro product to media type, reduces the tabs and actually disables the inventory system.I even installed woocommerce once again, not better.
What can I do?July 18, 2017 at 7:42 pm #30940I swear I disable all plugins even Symbiostock and woocommerce and restarted all plugins, removed W3Total Cache a.s.o. but there is no option to see the SKU in the media page. Is there any idea why this happens? Since Symbiostock vendor isn’t available I need the SKU to find out the artists that owns the picture…

I am stuck.July 18, 2017 at 5:39 pm #30939Ok, yes. It is SKU. It is show as attached above in the overview but doesn’t show in Symbiostock’s product /media page (backend) Thus I thought you turned of this field. I am still searching but cannot find a reason why it disappeared….
July 7, 2017 at 9:45 pm #30129Don’t get me wrong, but I think I didn’t explain it correctly. Are you talking about the product page within the backend or frontend?
We see the article number (backend) when opening the overview (all media) but cannot find the edit field to adjust it (product view backend). If it is still correct that I have to add it manually, that would mean I need to add code to the function of you plugin? Where would this be found?
July 5, 2017 at 6:52 pm #30119Dear Robin,
I established a AMAZON S3 solution and it works just smooth with uploaded media. Even more, ftp uploads are process and the media with watermark are immediately pushed to S3 as well. Unfortunately the original file stays in the /media folder.
Does this make sense to you and is there a hidden option to ask your process to store the file in the remote file storage as well?

June 30, 2017 at 5:48 pm #30099Great to hear that there is an solution and you haven’t heard negative experiences. I was aware of a dropbox/Amazon S3 solution as you mentioned above, but I wasn’t sure if your processor and media handle together with WooCommerce allows to link a URL to an external folder. I will try to setup an account with either Amazon S3 or other another service.
Thank you for releasing your plans about upcoming plugin versions. If I may request at that point: any professional image or video artist tries to avoid ftp and prefers direct upload from Adobe Lightroom or other tools. If by any chance you can include such a function, it’d be a real plus. At least provide some documentation for “photographers” how to upload images / movies easily. Even another plugin that uses a shared dropbox folder that is watched by the processor per user could be such a solution.
Looking forward to the vendors plugin.
Best,
M.
June 30, 2017 at 5:28 pm #30098Hi @dawn
thank you, that answers my questions. I found the menu section to adjust search results’ design.
I was looking for the search results of a user search
/?s=
. Currently all media are displayed in their current size. I wondered if I can adjust the grid view (rows/columns/crop). I guess that is not intended yet.Best,
M.
