I’m not sure if I have any control over the junk mail aspect. I know that has been discussed in the past though.
It could be related though I can’t understand how. I just tested mine and got an email instantly.

The analytics system was using up too much memory in mysql queries. The side effect is that emails do not get sent out if load is too high.
Yesterday I had to do some server maintenance. Turns out my twitter scripts were backed up in a queue and hogging memory on my server.
No biggie – I’m overdue to redesign my twitter operation anyway.
I’m doing some updates on the theme today. I’ll get back soon.

Its unlikely we’ll ever be able to “drop” the present version of Symbiostock and it will always have a measure of support. I think the revisions it will get are mostly performance and changes that occur with WordPress’s development. But I think we’re desperately overdue for a good appearance option like the more established photostores.
It will be a few days work for me, but I think the detour is necessary.

Hi there.
The issue is that if I use the email addresses of the users for such a purpose it can easily turn into an action against Symbiostock itself, since it could be construed as a competing strategy of questionable ethics. But I see no harm in people doing things of their own accord. Its a sort of gray area.
