Fixed the download area issue (fixed being trying it over and over again til it worked). Somehow sacrificed all the payment/download emails to the customer and to me thought. 🙂 Ahh code. How I love and hate thee…
I think I will wait and see what the new one is like. That way I’m no re-creating the wheel. I can afford to be patient. 🙂
Hiya Leo, no worries really. I completely deleted my old sites and installed from scratch. So no merging.
Paypal, I’m premium and have no issue making payment and an email to my test buyer account. However I do not get a customer Sym email with a download link and the cart image won’t move from the cart to the download area.
I had wordfence, but saw other say in old threads that it interfered so I turned it off.
I currently only have one image, and I thought I’d get it all functional before I did any mass uploading.
Again, no worries. I am more playing than anything. I’m waiting for your next Sym iteration so I can do other WP themes. 🙂
I hope so. Can’t make my download area work though. I’m fine right up until (as a customer) I pay, the payment goes through, but I don’t get the Sym email nor does the image move to the download area. I’ll keep hammering away at it.
Works for me. I’ll wait for the announcement.
Yay! I found the email about the forum just tonight (it went into the wrong folder – thanks Gmail…). Nice to see this back up and running. I’ve horribly neglected my websites, but they are fully functional. That said, I think I might redo everything, start from scratch and see what happens. Hi Leo!

The newest version is so darn easy compared to the first ones! Loving it. I’m going to eventually move my minerals and stuff off of every MS site and keep the prices higher too. I have some stuff that has never seen the light of day…

That one is mine. I had a really old version of Sym that I couldn’t update. I tried to do it manually but completely buggered up the site. Since I was unhappy with the look and feel anyway, I tore it down and I’m starting it from scratch. Still active, will be growing it slowly. Cheers!
Thanks, I have an old blog on a different sub, so I put the store in a different one. Altogether I’ve managed to get myself down to only two websites, 2 stores and 3 WP installs. 🙂
This may be a dumb question, but when I add my domain in the listing, do I include the sub directory? My site is actually at http://www.photomining.com/s/ .
Works fine now. I just re-did the upload and it went through perfectly.

Thanks! I feel somewhat guilty that I started so strongly way back in the beginning, but then had to stop for most of the dev stage. Now I can put a little time into my new site, and down the road I will likely re-do my minerals site as well.
Now to find foodies to network with…. 🙂
