symbiostock info is normally almost instantaneous – but is slow and bitty in responding – some images show, then others, then one or two

Leo, could we partly get around this by not having the yes/no option when we create licences.
Just have Yes option so that the price has to be filled in as 00.00 for the default licence (that is what I had done in the image in post 50 of the thread AJT quoted).

Looking at your astoundingly huge and detailed categories, I can see why the last system was a step back for you! Hopefully I can get these basic dropdown lists looking much better soon.

I think it may be a restriction within wordpress as well, I have tried adding code in .htaccess and php.ini that others have suggested but it has not bought my missing menu items back yet. I am currently trying to redo my categories and make the list smaller – last time I tried this they just changed themselves back again. For a while I had the same problem as Martha – everything disappeared from the menu except for “home”

I am having all sorts of menu/category problems as they keep disappearing (wordpress problem I think) but cannot get sub menus in the header menus at present, not sure how others are doing

My testing site is a tad screwed up, I ought to delete it and start again really – I have just disabled the security plugs in.

Licences are not attached to downloads, only links to licences so if we put a link to a licence page that in turn links to the various licences – ie one for RM Basic, one for RM 1, one for Editorial, Standard, Extended or whatever we have then that should get around it.

Licences – I have thought of a way around it

(I only have one on my site, did not set up an RM so it will always show the default).

However IF we create a licence page and that page links to all the relevant licences on other pages do you think that would work. It would mean two clicks for anyone purchasing – one link to main licence page and then a second click to the specific one but unless Leo or someone does lots of coding it is a workarouund.
