If everyone only adds those who link back there would be a lot of “closed” networks.

Some of the people I link to have linked back to me, others have not but I am happy with this as it spreads the links out further.

I do add AJT’s global network so that I can include everyone within the network though so in effect I include everyone even if not individally

Yes, I am using the syxtra plugin for this. Not particularly useful as I think most views are from bots and not humans but it might make potential clients think the site is well used

I am not sure if the premium plug-in now needs a minimum main theme version to work with or not – probably best to check before hand. If you have a subdomain you can create and work on try that, if not make a copy of your child theme, back it up and then deactivate it. See what you can do with the latest version (there are different layouts and colours etc even without the front page generator (for people who want a page created for them and don’t need to change it) or the dragonfly child theme. Then try reintroducing your child theme to add the bits you want.

It is looking good

Had one problem I have not yet been able to replicate where the grey border stretched all the way across the page and I could not close nor escape from it, had to close the page to be able to do anything.

I use a tablet and pen, have to hold the pen higher above the tablet than I am used to if it gets too close an “undefined” message comes up. Not sure if this is relevant to anything but will mention anyway.

If you go to Appearance, Themes you will be able to see the Symbiostock version
” ” Plug-ins you will be able to see the Premium Plug in version if you are using it

PS – I have just looked and you are using Symbiostock 2.6.5 which is an old version, there have been a lot of changes since then and the layout and various options have changed considerably.

To upgrade this time I think you will need to disable one of the symbiostock plug-ins (but I cannot remember which one so do them all 🙂 ) and do a clean install rather than an upgrade

Maybe we should include a section in our licence or site conditions that hotlinking (outside the system) is not permitted and will be counted as a use for which a licence fee plus unauthorised use fee is payable ?

Clean Theme was a paid for child theme and SyXtra (a free but donations welcome, plug-in) were both created in the early days of Symbiostock but I think as the main theme went through so many changes the developers of the child theme and plug in were unable to keep up without starting almost from scratch. There were a few upgrades but maybe too many demands on them and neither, sadly are now active members.

I believe Leo hacked the Clean theme for those who had already purchased it and some of us are still using parts of SyXtra but neither play nicely with the current version of Symbiostock

For some of it – Horrible, too many deaths, both human and animals

Good things –
Symbiostock, kept me occupied for most of the year when I needed something positive to focus on, just need some customers now.
I am still alive and can look on the positive side most of the time 🙂
