My site is still up and running well without any problems. Although I don’t use it for direct sale and use the ajt stock plugin I get regular visits. Looking out for the theme update. Many thanks.

I’m sorry for the dumb question, but is it only for WP posts? I wonder, why my RSS doesn’t show the latest images I’ve uploaded and so on. It is just showing a post “Hello-world”, and I don’t use and don’t intend to use the site as a blog creating post “every day”, but would like a RSS showing the latest images/all images.

This is how i did it.
Made an image category “All” and this is the feed http://7horses.eu/wp/feed/rss/?image-type=all-images

    – Thanks for you reply 7horses. So, you created a category “All” and you add all images into it, until here I think is is ok, but another silly doubt, how do you create an RSS feed for this category “All”?

It’s created automatically (by WP or symbiostock)

One example how to get on the right track can be seen at the darktable project ( for non linux people, this is the open source project to have a replacement for lightroom on linux).
This project is from the start and till this moment a very good open source example how development, debugging and roll out can be managed. Looking at their forum can give some ideas http://www.darktable.org/development/

You might find you do not get many links to your site until you start selling direct. This is only because members wish to sell images from their own and networked sites and not send potential clients off to the agencies

I understand this completely. Is this also the reason my site doesn’t show in symbiostock.info ?

Yes, this is first reason. Symbiostock.info is intended to list images, which customers can buy directly from us.
Some sites listed in sy.info use stock plugin to point to images sold via agencies, but they are RM images and it is about 10% of their portfolios, and I think that it is temporary solution, until Symbio has improved RM licenses. Your site has only redirections to other sites, even in home page.

Second reason: you still have “Site under construction” message.

Fair enough, I will leave the network active on my side just to point my visitors who are using the search to the symbiostock network pictures.

I have the same question. How can My site http://7horses.eu appear in the list of sites at http://symbiostock.info ?

also, saw that your image descriptions have a lot of extra info

do you really want to be sending people to other microagencies?

Yes I’m not ready to start direct selling legall at this moment so I’m using ajt’s stockplugin for this while uploading my portfolia. It’s easy to remove it later on.

Just started my new symbiostock site today.
It’s still under construction and a lot of images have to be added the coming weeks. For the moment I’m not direct selling but using the ajt stockplugin to showcase my work. The site is hosted on brontobytes.com and I just updated to wp3.7.1

Connected to network today and added the symbiostock.info
Network results are now showing in the search.

Speed of site is ok here in Belgium. Don’t now how performance is overseas.

    Welcome.

Why are you not selling direct, what is it with the VAT regulations that stops you, do you have to be VAT registered for anything you sell in Belgium? It seems a shame you have to pay to advertise other’s stock sites instead of your own images

For the moment I do this purely as a hobby and want to avoid any legal issues.
As for now I will first publish my pictures and thanks to ajt’s stock plugin I can switch on the price box with one little 0/1 change at any moment I feel ready for it. Time will tell
