And can we seriously consider ditching those grey gradient bars on the network search results, and the latest images widgets etc?

As in other thread, can you please give me some assistance with the homepage issues please Leo. And this new blue box (comments box?) that shows up on the bottom of pages now since the upgrade.
Also, how can you disable the border boxes on widgets without disabling them for everything that uses a border?

Leo – I am really struggling with the homepage still. None of the hompages call the CTA widgets properly. and now with the 2.7.1 upgrade all of them bar Home Page SImple add a blue bar at the bottom which is a comments area accruing to firebug.
Little help?

Yes, I know this, but there is a bug in public image info – some images have rank 1, some 2 and 3, but in public info they have 2. I discovered this when I tried to implement ranking in global search. It did’n work because all images from all sites have rank=2 now (in symbiostock_image_info files) 🙂

I noticed the button your referring too doesn’t do anything on the first click usually. It does on the 2nd or third. Weird.
I also remember Leo mentioning he was going to make the batch editor and admin options screen changes conditional, not global. As in, only the settings that have changed will be affected, rather than how it is now that EVERY setting on the page is applied to all images. Hopefully he can get to that one soon.

🙂 it is still very much relevant to me..
I have all my license info on the same page.. so a possibility to turn that on and off would be better, rather than removing it completely..
I agree with your other requests but this is gonna effect everybody and not everyone has their licenses set up the same way..
The next word after your bolded part was important in what I said… IF. Then I suggested the same thing you suggested – not a complete removal, but a check to see if it’s needed. Thats the best solution.
So looks like we both agree! 😉

Few little things…
Allowing different fonts will cause spacing issues, such as in the pricing table here: http://thpstockphotos.com/image/cockatoo-in-rain/ the Price heading spans two lines and the Extended License icon falls below onto a new line. Not sure if there is an easy way around this when changing fonts?
Also, the body content doesn’t seem to affect bullet items, as on my homepage http://thpstockphotos.com (see the font is different as is the font colour slightly?)

Bring on the cheese… 😉 I see what you mean, but hopefully MOST of us can use it wisely. I think all these customisation options are really great additions.
Sorry to keep harping on about issues, but just a reminder too about that bug where the same image appears on multiple pages when browsing categories etc.

Extra ideas for what could be included in your new live customisation area:
h1, h2, h3 etc fonts and sizes & colours
h1, h2, h3 widget fonts, sizes & colours
Image page image name font size, colour, type etcJust ideas, not crucial 😉

I’m still having issues with the Home Page CTA template though even after latest update – it still doesn’t load the sidebar next to the main content, always below the content. So I have reverted back to a normal sidebar page which works properly, the problem being I can’t setup different widgets for the homepage compared to other pages. Also, with these new colour customization options you are making these are GREAT! Another request – can you separate a few elements out for more flexibility? Eg: Footer Links, compared to all links. Would be great to be able to customize footer links colours separately to all other links colours. Breadcrumb colours, keyword tag colours etc etc. The more flexible the better!
