    Hey Jennifer,

    So the way licenses work is once you create one, you need to then decide how you want them applied. If you have no auto-filter rules set, then it will not automatically be set to anything and you will have to manually set it.

    In order to auto-set it, you need to edit the license and click ‘Apply to raster images’ if you want it applied to images. Same goes for vectors (and soon videos). There are additional filters there that further enhance the application filter. Then, any new images that you add will automatically have that license added to it.

    If you want it to apply to images you’ve already added, you can just re-save the image, either via quick edit, bulk edit, or the main product edit, and the license should automatically apply to it.

    Hey Jennifer – welcome to the Symbiostock forum!

    Do you know if you’re being hosted on a Windows machine?

    http://php.net/manual/en/function.exif-imagetype.php

    exif_imagetype is a built in PHP function that is used by Symbiostock when you don’t have Imagick enabled.

    I got this from the manual:

    Windows users: If you get the fatal error “Fatal error:  Call to undefined function exif_imagetype()”, and you have enabled php_exif.dll, make sure you enable php_mbstring.dll. You must put mbstring before exif in the php.ini, i.e.:

    extension=php_mbstring.dll
    extension=php_exif.dll

    You can check whether this has worked by calling phpinfo() and searching for exif.

    I suggest you let your host know and they should definitely be able to help you out.

    Great article Steve – I didn’t even anticipate it, but as contributors like you do stuff like this, we can syndicate it across all the Symzio social media as well, giving it extra coverage. So it works in a multiplied way – thanks for your support!

    Hey Joel,

    Don’t worry about the template warning unless you get problems with your site.

    As for the memory limit, if you don’t see it, try adding it and see if it fixes it.
