Do you use (or recommend to use) Wordfence in addition to the plugins mentioned in your tutorial?
February 15, 2014 at 1:01 pm #9694But Akismet is something you’d have to pay for, isn’t it?
February 15, 2014 at 12:57 pm #2120Congrats!
February 14, 2014 at 12:38 pm #9654February 11, 2014 at 4:07 pm #9596You might want to mention if the cost is a one time or a monthly fee. I did not quite understand this important fact from reading this.
February 8, 2014 at 8:16 pm #9473No solution to your problem, sorry.
Just wondering if I’m the only one who can’t see the Symbiostock logo at symbiostock.com.
February 7, 2014 at 2:27 pm #9386You might not have to delete them. Take care of your watermark first and then try to “Reprocess” your images.

How to Create a Child Theme
Child Theme directory structure
Create a directory in your themes directory to hold the child theme. The theme directory is wp-content/themes. You should name the directory without any space as part of the name, and it is common practice to use the name of the parent theme folder with “-child” appended to it. For example, if you are making a child of the twentyfourteen theme, your folder name would be twentyfourteen-child.
In the child theme directory, create a file called style.css. This is the only file required to make a child theme. The style sheet must start with the following lines:
/*
Theme Name: Twenty Fourteen Child
Theme URI: http://example.com/twenty-fourteen-child/
Description: Twenty Fourteen Child Theme
Author: John Doe
Author URI: http://example.com
Template: twentyfourteen
Version: 1.0.0
Tags: light, dark, two-columns, right-sidebar, responsive-layout, accessibility-ready
Text Domain: twenty-fourteen-child
*/
@import url("../twentyfourteen/style.css");
/* =Theme customization starts here
*/

I just have quicktime player too.
Here’s a video about how to do it:
That’s fantastic! Doesn’t get any easier than that. I’ll try it right away. That’s a great way to create some video tuts to share on YouTube. Might be a good way to get visitors to the site (and the network).
Thanks a lot for this great tip. Made my day.

… and you can film what’s happening on your computer screen with Quicktime and then bring that into iMovie as well if you want to edit it.
Yeah that’s basically what I had in mind, filming what’s going on on my screen. I don’t have QuickTime though, only the QT Player.
Here’s an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ38ociTL7s. I’d just want to do it without speech/sound but add short text instructions instead.
January 31, 2014 at 2:46 pm #9091BTW, does anybody know how to create a video tutorial (for Youtube publication) showing only the stuff that’s going on on your computer screen?
I’d like to create a few tutorials, but without any speech. Just simple and straight forward screen action.

…I think that after some time, having 15 links instead of 10 may make no difference…
I believe that it will make a difference, because the more incoming links a site has, then the higher their search rank will be in Google (and I believe that is one of the most important variables to getting sales).
I think that was the case before “Hummingbird” came along.
I believe “Hummingbird” was the reason that the entire Symbiostock networking idea took a serious hit in August/September 2013. That’s why I wouldn’t too optimistic about back and forth linking helping your site a lot.January 28, 2014 at 8:38 pm #8986I would probably find it more useful to be able to block 10 (or whatever amount) sites from networking and automatically connect to the remaining sites. However, the network results should be shown in only ONE block instead of every single one separately.
