I am awaiting their reply. In the meantime, Chris mentioned a WP cache – can you explain this comment? Because in some cases, when I update my Product page, the watermark isn’t updating. But in some cases it does. It’s inconsistent.

So this cache explanation sounds like it might be a solution – I didn’t know about any WP cache. Can you please show me please exactly how I can clear the WP cache, so any old product thumbnail images that are “sticking” get wiped out and all are freshly updated?

    thank you!

Robin & co – I’m having this issue again because I changed my watermark again. To refer to the 7th post here by Robin, no when I bring up the Symbio Media list, many of the thumbnails have not updated on the backend.

I need for these to all update themselves like it’s supposed to, without me manually going into hundreds of Product pages and Updating the product by hand. How do I accomplish this?

    thank you!

Hey guys – I haven’t received a reply from you here. I followed the WC guy’s more recent instructions and tested a simple edit. I got my order email but never received my Order Complete email, even though the order completed according to my dashboard.

I reverted to the original email template and made two more test purchases, which eventually went thru but one took 4 minutes and one took 9 minutes. This of course is way too long, and Robin will remember we already had fixed this issue awhile back; current times have been a minute which is fine. Why would editing the email template affect the processing time?

I went back to the template and test-edited it again, and now it’s back to not sending me the Order Completed email, even though my Dashboard says it has been completed.

Here’s the new-and-improved instructions I got from WC that started this trouble:

“”The easiest approach would be to go to the WooCommerce > Settings > Email section and copy over the email template you wish to edit into your theme by clicking this button on the email template edit page.

    screenshot at http://cld.wthms.co/cwYP/1uQtZrJO

Now via FTP you can edit the email template on your site that you copied over to your theme and add additional content to it etc. This template will override the default WooCommerce templates now and display your edited version instead.”

Seems to make sense. I did what this guy said, and made the edit right in the Edit window from the cpanel. But it ain’t working. So I need your help!!

    1. Why is this simple edit to the email template causing all this trouble? I just need to add my EULA text to the bottom of the email template’s text before the footer; this doesn’t seem like it should be a big deal.

    2. I need to get processing time back to a minute with the new text in place in the email.

    3. When I restore the code back to the original state, it’s still taking too long for some reason.

So I’m stuck here. I was planning to launch tonight or tomorrow but I can’t until this issue is fixed.

Please reply and help ASAP, thank you!!

Hey Robin, I’ve purchased and downloaded Anytype and it’s sitting there in my Downloads folder. But I haven’t seen instructions anywhere regarding how to activate it, I was hoping it would magcially show up in my Dashboard.

What do I do now, how do I get this into my system?

    thanks!

Thanks Andre! That’s very interesting about WT not seemig like such a big deal now.

Can I ask you to share then, are you a big Google Analytics user? How do you monitor your site’s performance? Any personal tips on best practices for ecommerce in 2016-2017?

Aha, I like where you’re coming from – this sounds much simpler. So this will keep all my custom CSS?

I only have a few lines in my Custom CSS plugin that I installed per your earlier recommendation.

I have a bunch more code that was put in by the Webulous tech support guy (who was very helpful, I must say) under Theme Options>General Settings>Custom CSS.

    So my questions are:

    1. How exactly and where do I put the !important postfix, for each entry in the code? I haven’t done this before and don’t know here that goes in relation to any given line of code on the Custom CSS plugin. Please explain and show examples?

    2. Will the Custom CSS added under Theme Options be retained with a theme update? I will ask Webulous too, but thought I should see if you have any knowledge of this.

    thanks Robin!

The “cannot verify” problem has been happening on all the macs. The one I specified, I can’t even get it to run on at all.

I thought I had tried the “always trust” option, but did it again on the other desktop mac and seems ok for the moment.

OK I will see what else I can manage on my own and will post here if any developments, thanks guys.

Aha! That seems to have done it. When I click the Product Image at right and Edit it, resize a bit and resize back to the original and Update the product, it updates when I refresh the browser. I will apply this trick to all of them and let you know if I have trouble.

    thanks Robin!
