These files:
http://www.vectorjourney.com/symbiostock_image_info.xml
and
http://www.vectorjourney.com/symbiostock_image_info.csv
should contain info about all images, but are empty. Some people had this problem too, and the reason was one of plugins (Nextgen Gallery for example).
Disable a plugin, then go to the bottom of Symbiostock->Network, check “Update public image info” and Save.
Download above files (or have a look at them in ftp session, they are in root folder). If still empty, try with another plugin.February 27, 2014 at 3:59 pm #5539February 20, 2014 at 8:08 pm #9745@jorodrigues wrote:
I registered in order to download the file and I downloaded it as a medium size “1669-medium” by clicking on the “Get File” button. The prices are still there though! It is a little confusing to have a Free button at the top and then our normal Pay/Download button below.
I’m thinking I want it to be REALLY clear this is a free file.
JoFile is “free for non-commercial use”. I think it is clear 🙂
If someone plans to use it commercially, has to buy.
But if you don’t want prices, edit file and make it “not live”.February 19, 2014 at 8:05 pm #9773@semmickphoto wrote:
I need to find a way to set my screen options back to say 100 images, and then its all good. I am not sure if its related to the cart plugin.
What do you see here?

February 19, 2014 at 6:36 pm #9736In 3.3.2 already only featured and latest images are in generated home page, but I am now looking at code responsible for creating featured category (and free too) and there is something wrong in its logic. “Side effect” of this bug is that the featured category is not created, when code is executed first time and creates all other categories, but when other categories already exist, it works 🙂
Try to toggle theme off/on and it should appear.February 19, 2014 at 3:48 pm #9767Look here:
http://www.worldstockimages.com/search-images/isolated/
There is no pagination, and when number of results is very big (for example all images) there is not enough memory to display them all in one page,
Some sites have this issue from time to time, it has something to do with cart plugin, but the exact reason is unknown so far.
Do you have cart plugin installed? Disable it and try again.February 18, 2014 at 10:32 pm #9732@cascoly wrote:
looks like the free images always shows on the generated home page — is there a way to turn it off? or does it just not show up if no free images are defined??
Ooops, they shouldn’t be there 🙂
If someone uses generated page, the way to remove free images from there is installing next version…February 18, 2014 at 9:23 am #9730It is available in version 3.3.1. To make it working, you have to toggle themes after updating – activate other theme, then activate Symbiostock again (and child theme in the end, if you use any).
There is a size option in Bee->Settings. Medium is default.February 16, 2014 at 11:36 am #9761Site updates this directory daily, just wait a day or two.
February 16, 2014 at 11:33 am #9753Welcome!
I added your site to symbiostock.info.February 16, 2014 at 10:10 am #9726I think that some of you misunderstood me. I don’t want you to give your entire work (or big number of images) for free. I’ve placed three free images in my site as an example. You can offer only one. And when someone finds your free image somewhere in google or other search engine, he has to go to your site and register to download it.

I already have one free image (small size), but you don’t have to register to download it. I would be interested as I like the idea that the customer has to register first, but I think it should come with an option to choose which size(s) you want to offer for free.
Now only large file is available for download, but I can always upload smaller version of image and make it free. It even can have disabled paid download options (edit and ‘not live’).
Or maybe I’ll add free size option somewhere in Author Options or Settings 🙂February 12, 2014 at 8:03 pm #9627Hi Adrian!
Symbiostock.info is collecting adresses of all new sites, but it doesn’t index them automatically. I prefer to review them first to be sure, that they are valid Symbiostock sites 🙂
I added your site already.February 10, 2014 at 10:38 pm #9575Ok, added with /s 🙂
February 10, 2014 at 10:30 pm #9573I tried to do as you wish, already deleted your old food site from symbiostock.info, but there is a problem with your new site.
Its real address is photomining.com/s and I have to add this address to search engine. Are you sure it is ok? -
