Oh, I see. You are talking about single contributor profile. That’s a good idea.
I was looking for a page of all contributors. There was one somewhere…
July 23, 2016 at 11:54 pm #27351Good suggestions by Robin. And thanks to George and Songquan for starting this.
Count me in, please. I think we should have a somewhat organized list of the members (site title), their introduction and their URLs to independent site and Symzio profile.July 24, 2016 at 12:42 am #27353I’ve set up a thread for listing the independent owners information only at http://www.symbiostock.org/forums/topic/list-of-link-exchange-participants/ .
July 24, 2016 at 12:44 am #27354Hey Andre,
Should the “lists” be the same? I think Google doesn’t care for copied or duplicated info, so that’s the reason I went for that chatty style, just to be different. I do like the idea of multiple links, such as linking to both your website and your Symzio contributor page. I’ve already added you to my page http://georgesheldon.com/recommended/ so there is a starting point as to how a list can be massaged into a proper format.
I am wondering if location of the artist should be included? What do you think?
George
July 24, 2016 at 12:58 am #27355Hey George, I think the “intro/description” doesn’t have to be the same on each site. Actually it probably looks more organic if it isn’t. So I agree with you. The list I started should only be a starting point to give/grab essential information.
Your list is great and I’ll set up mine later today.Location? I don’t think anybody will hire a local photographer for paid assignments out of our stock image sites. However, when your location is adding to the description of your work (like in my case with Mexico), then I’d suggest to include it. I think the more you fit into a niche (be it a particular location, historic images, photography style or whatever), the better your chances to be found.
July 24, 2016 at 1:50 am #27358Count me in as well. I also think the different unique ways our sites are described by each contributor will add interest to it. I’m not expecting many people to actually go to those pages and read the text, but Google certainly will!

July 24, 2016 at 1:53 am #27359Thanks Andre. It is a good idea to put site info in a separate post while keep discussions in this post.
The info the site owner supplied can be useful if people are lazy to add their own description. Oganic wording is absolutely highly appreciated. Location might be important as well, depends on what your contents are.
I just updated the link page on my site with your info
http://bestcityscape.com/our-friends/
So far I copied the introduction from the post but later on I will change them.
July 24, 2016 at 2:15 am #27362And Steve, you are added just now. 🙂
July 24, 2016 at 2:52 am #27363Here’s my current “friends list”. I’ll update it when more participants subscribe to the exchange. Now I’m going to include it in the menu structure and I’ll drop a note on the blog later on.
July 24, 2016 at 3:59 am #27364Here is the start of my page:
http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/stock-photographers-worth-following/
I put the suggested boilerplate text as the description of the image and then put my own words in the text on the page.

July 24, 2016 at 5:42 am #27365Wow, just got back from a shoot – yes, it was hot out there – but it is great to see how this is already growing!
Here are some of my thoughts from what was said:
Andre – One of the biggest books deals I ever got was only because a publisher in London was looking for a Pennsylvania writer/author/photographer, and Google told them about me. I just added a pop-up to my home page that tells visitors where I am headed, in case they need specific coverage. You just never know who might be looking for what. I look at location as an advantage, I suppose.
Steve – good to see you on board, and your page looks like it is off to a great start. I think you’re right – we are really writing this for Google and Bing.
Songquan – what have we started here?
Everyone – I will add my info on Andre’s post so it is easy to add me if others join in. I have already put my list page into my menus. I will add your Symzio portfolio to my page, too. I will tweet about your page, too. I am honored and humbled to be included on your lists. Thanks!
George
July 24, 2016 at 12:30 pm #27369George, with more and more contributors popped in, hopefully we will see google rank going up for each of us.
Any one has way to monitor google rank? I checked alexa but their ranking system is problematic as I saw rank jumps back and force in big number for most of the sites. If there is a way, it would be good to post our current rank as historic record and compare in the future so that we know if we are in the right track.
July 24, 2016 at 12:54 pm #27370Nice idea! Count me in too !
Songquan, here is a free google rank checker : https://www.serplab.co.uk/
1. http://3d-fonts.com/
http://www.symzio.com/contributor-16363.html2. Focusing on 3d fonts illustrations
3. 3d renders only, 500+ and keep increasing.
4.
Small $2.49
Medium $4.99
Full size $19.99
Extended $24.99July 24, 2016 at 1:28 pm #27371Thanks Chrisroll, that is not exactly what I am looking for. It depends on keywords. If rank is outside of top 100, it won’t display. I am looking for something like alexa, the rank of website.
Please also copy the site info to the exchange thread and follow the format to post so that people will see and add your site
