You may experience unpredictable results if your execution time is set too low. The processor may take longer to process images, and certain pages may return white screens randomly. Symbiostock attempts to fix this issue in script, but as different providers have different settings, it is best to fix this at the server level.
The default PHP setting is 30 seconds – however some hosts may put this as low as 10 seconds. It is recommended you set this to 300 seconds.
Note: Not all hosts permit the editing of this. You may have to contact your provider if this issue persists.
In php.ini:
max_execution_time = 300
It is important you consider fixing these settings if they are too low to prevent future problems. Note that with Symbiostock Hosting, you do not need to worry about this setting as it is optimized for Symbiostock.
