It is solved. The files are there, only Filezilla doesn’t display them
July 27, 2021 at 9:44 pm #39623Thanks for the answer!
But how should I update not to the latest 5.x version, but to 4.93?
Ty
July 9, 2021 at 8:25 pm #39571Couldn’t you try it on your end with Storefront theme by Woocommerce?
July 9, 2021 at 7:38 pm #39569But there are even settings to set post thumbnail size under settigns / media
Shop Catalog Image Size (WxH)
300 x 300 Crop?Shop Single Image Size (WxH)
623 x 600 Crop?Shop Thumbnail Image Size (WxH) Crop?
June 28, 2021 at 10:26 pm #39510I’m talking about thumbnails (product image size, catalog image size. Thumbnails are ok since they are 100px – below 600px
June 26, 2021 at 12:27 am #39501Hello,
My first message was confusing.
I use Storefront theme, the default Woo theme. Without Symbiostock enabled I manage to set the image sizes.
With Symbiostock enabled, the max image size is 600 px in width.
March 24, 2021 at 6:32 am #38660Correction: The first image you upload will be the last. Then it goes by alphabetical order.
March 23, 2021 at 7:09 am #38654Also I’m getting this message when trying to add a product to my cart:
Please choose product options by visiting *Product name as a link here*
Any idea?
March 23, 2021 at 6:36 am #38653I’m trying it without the theme update and now I have 2 image description sections. There is a duplicate section after the file info (file type, size)
What’s happening?
March 23, 2021 at 5:51 am #38652Tested. First uploaded images will be at the end. The sequence from your HDD to your site is reversed.
Solved.
March 23, 2021 at 5:45 am #38651I started from scratch, did a reinstall.
Somehow my images aren’t processing, but this is not theme related.
Apart from this, the problems reappeared only when I updated the theme.
Hence, the latest theme update is broken. At least this is what I experience on my end.
My WordPress version is 5.7
November 2, 2020 at 12:05 am #37873I need to watch for my file numbers, not the size of them. My WordPress created around 8 images / 1 image.
With a plugin I can turn off image sizes and only have the biggest one active, thus — as per the Woocommerce team reply — display everywhere that 1 image, resized with CSS
Consider this solved.
October 30, 2020 at 1:10 am #37850Meanwhile I got this answer on WordPress.org
Hi @*** ,
You should only need one copy of each image. WooCommerce automatically sets a size for you and generates images for customers to see on the front end without needing to take more server space.
This page has more information about how images work in WooCommerce.
Let me know if you have any questions!
