I get this too whenever there is a file that didn’t process for some reason. (still using 2.6.5)
Like last week when I couldn’t upload larger files. Now with every upload there is that one error file.RE: The duplicate Descriptions.
Wasn’t this traced back to having a ‘Special Character’ in the Description – I remember this happening when I first started.
I happened yesterday when one got past me in my initial IPTC editing.Steve

Steve, can you go into the file manager on bluehost and see, if you are curious? I do my stuff thru dreamweaver and then ftp, so i dont use the file manager that much.
Cathy,
I’ll be out most of the day but will check later, and report.
SteveIts ok Steve. You dont have to check for me…i guess i misunderstood and thought YOU didnt have a way to change it.
I did make changes myself but the changes had no effect – so not sure what they did but I’m good now.

FOLLOW-UP:
I called Bluehost today. Without hesitation, the tech who helped me raised the upload limit to 50MB, which is much higher than I need. (My earlier increase was “only” to 30MB.)
When I asked what had happened, he confirmed that there had been a change to the latest php, which had erased previous settings in my site. He said if it happens again, just call back and they’ll fix it again.
So now, sure enough, I’m able to upload my largest images. And I continue to be happy with the service at Bluehost.
Sorry didn’t see your post and I was out all day today.
I just communicated via email and they did not tell me what they increased it to.Glad to hear they took care of you too.

Thank you for contacting support. I am sorry you are having this problem. I updated the post_max_size in the php.ini. Please try this again.

http://www.softlightstock.comOctober 7, 2013 at 3:01 am #3872OK – I have been going back and forth with BlueHost support all day and it seems to have been fixed.
They did not say what they did but I can now upload files bigger than 10mb.
If anything changes I’ll let you know.
I suggest if you have this issue BlueHost can fix it.Steve

You need to revert to php.ini 5.3, there is something in 5.4 that causes this problem
Thanks it worked..
How do you “revert”?
go to your BlueHost control panel
and click on PHP Config (under Software/Services)
tick the one you want and save changes.Steve

You might want to try adding the following to your php.ini to see if it will help:
max_execution_time = 30; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
It is already set at 30

To be sure you place the .htaccess with the raised memory limits not only your WP root but also in the /wp-admin/ directory.
But I don’t know how to do this. I can’t even find a .htaccess file on my site, or know how to create one.

http://www.softlightstock.comOctober 4, 2013 at 11:45 pm #3848What version of Symbiostock are you using?

I forgot. I am on lunarpages and I had to add this to my .htaccess file as well in order for my settings to be invoked. Not sure if you have to do that at Bluehost or not.
suPHP_ConfigPath /home/username/public_html
my .htaccess and php.ini are both in my public_html directory.
We’re getting out of my comfort zone here – and I can’t find any .htaccess file on my Bluehost CPanel anywhere

http://www.softlightstock.comOctober 4, 2013 at 9:04 pm #3861Yes Bluehost.
My php is PHP 5.3 (Single php.ini)
I have updated the php to Tim’s settings ( no effect)
Interesting thing I have just noticed –
when I click on process images for the 11mb file I just tried to upload it said using GD Library.I then uploaded a smaller file and clicked process and it says using ImageMagick
I have been using ImageMagick for a long time now.
