    Hi Robin

I placed an order on Symbiostock Express. I am supposed to contact you, but I can’t see in which way, why I try here in the forum.

    Regards – Niels Kliim

Ok now part of my problems is solved. It turned out that a plugin “Search By Product tag – for Woocommerce”, which I installed when I used Woocommerce theme, made the search engine show the same product several time and by that also messed up the amount of products shown on the search page. After deactivating the plugin I can control the amount of images pr. page according to Henri’s answer in the above message.

Yes – I am using Symbiostock Express. But it seems like changing the “Blog pages show at most” only influence on real WordPress posts and not the Symbiostock Media posts. I can see the swapping page icons are not showing on your page, and i guess you haven’t done anything to avoid it – meaning I must have a plugin or some strange setting somewhere, that is causing the problem.

Nice page you have – by the way 🙂

Thank you Henri, but that did not change anything 😉

As I started to move some of my old blog posts today, I found out that Songquan was right about the problem with not being able to control on which pages the Symzio Widget is shown on. It seems odd to advertise for other peoples images on your own private blog posts. Therefore I made a quick and dirty solution, to put the Widget in the Footer Column 1, which I made expand to the full page width.

    1. Go to Admin -> Appearance -> Editor

    2. Find “Footer.php (templates/footer.php)” almost at the bottom of the page – not to be confused with the “footer.php” almost at the top.

    3. Scroll down in the code until you get to the point shown in the image. Remove the text class=”col-md-6 col-sm-6 footercol2″ from the text in the red square. On the image the text is removed. In the dashed square is an identically text – leave that as is.

    4. Go to “Admin -> Symbiostock Express -> Footer” and choose the 2 column layout

    5. Now you can put the Symzio Widget in the “Footer Column 1” in the Widget section, and from here decide what pages to show the widget on.

Songquan you are right about not being able to turn of the Symzio references on certain pages. But I think the idea of marketing each other’s images, is next to crucial, if we want to attract many costumers on regular basis, why I don’t mind giving you guys some free advertising on my licensing page, until a better solution is found  😉

Maybe you already have solved the Symzio Widget problem in the Symbiostock Express Theme, but if not here is a solution.

You generate the code for the Symzio Widget HERE on the Symzio site. Then you copy the script from “bullet 7” and the code from “bullet 8” in to the “Sitewide Footer Shortcode” in the “Footer” part of the “Symbiostock Express” setup menu.

This is my code, where I added a heading. You can see the result on my site HERE, and if you like it feel free to copy the code, just remember to change the affiliate code, which is this one: data-ack=”16364UF022″ Otherwise I get the credit

As the code will get stripped from this program, I have attached it in an image

Great news Songquan – it even made me buy the Symbiostock-Express theme. Not that I think the the theme it self will sell more of my images, it just makes it so much easier to set up a clear and logic shop, than is the case with e.g. the woocommerce theme I began with.

Oh year – you are right.
I was looking at the “Edit Media” page, where the field “ALT Text” is not filled out, but on the frontpage I can see in the html-code that there is an “alt” tag – wherever that is generated from. Yoast also seems to be happy – so I guess everything is in perfect order.

    Thanks a lot

AAArghh stupid me. I was clicking the “Personalize Interface” on and off, instead of the “Personalize Product Page.”

Now it works – thanks a lot 😉

Ahaaa – then I seem to have a problem. I have neither the resolution or the editorial tag. I tried five themes with same result, meaning the problem must be elsewhere. Where things has gone wrong, I don’t know. Do you by any chance have a hint?
