Ahhh, thought as much. I upped my php to 5.5.33 lastnight to see if any changes would happen.
Are you looking at an option to download all purchases as a Zip file, so say the customer purchased more than 4 images then it would auto down load the batch as a single zip file.
March 29, 2016 at 8:42 am #26248Im going to get my wrist slapped for bumping up an old thread (sorry Robbin).
A few months ago i downloaded Symbiostock along with woocommerce. Everything started to run fine and the setting all in place, i started to upload a batch of images, only 5 or 6 and all went ok, ran the processor and no problems (total file size was about 25mb) i then uploaded about 45mb and this is when the problems started.
Filezilla would start to stall and images on my sysmbiostock media area would lose thumbnails, details and just would not link up with anything.
After a few weeks of me, Robin and a few others trying to sort things out i was still having problems.
I deleted the software and found a ‘different’ plugin that did kind of the same job but with a lot of limitations, again it started to crash out?
On calling my ‘Host’ i was told the site im building was to big for the system, i technically had 128mb ram shared between 10 of my sites….not good and not what i was told by the sales person.
so i had to upgrade…twice, so from £9.99 per month upto £14.99 then to £19.99 but the last package gave me 2gb dedicated ram and a better cpu.
the result…images uploaded in seconds and no problems yet. (touch wood)
so in all…home work is needed and shopping around is a must. My last host want to charge me £240 a year for one site..i now can have my 10 site running at full speed for the same price.
March 3, 2016 at 10:20 am #25933YES…….SORTED IT OUT
it has nothing to do with the plugins…its a windows 10 error.
i used the details in this post:
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/windows-10-resetting-file-associations/
and deleted the symbiostock & woocommere plugins…reloaded them and ran a new FTP image upload…
Run the processor….
..And thumbnail appears in Symbio media and the image in the WordPress Medial Library…….SORTED..PHEW
March 3, 2016 at 9:57 am #25932Bit of an update….and something very strange.
1) deleted all files and folders and did a fresh install of WordPress.
2) downloaded the symbiostock plugin via the wordpress menu.
3) downloaded woocommerce via the symbiostock request (winzip file)
4) opened the winzip down load an my windows system went a bit strange with the following message…..
AN APP CAUSED A PROBLEM WITH THE DEFAULT APP SETTING FOR .PNG FILES, SO IT WAS RESET TO PHOTOS.
it also flashed this message but changed the .png file to jpeg, bmp and gif…….
it then shuts down the winzip file so in the end i have to down load the plugin from the wordpress menu (not symbiostock link)
still no images showing at all, could this be linked??
March 2, 2016 at 7:18 pm #25928Hi George
I normally make notes of any changes i make, the only change i can think of is WP updated and i did the school boy error of not backing up before an update (slaps forehead) but as of that there was no real changes i can think of.
i have a day off friday so i might have a look and do a re-install
March 2, 2016 at 3:56 am #25923Hi George..
Im using Google Chrome (deleted cached files also) and had a go on Firefox and edge (IE) still all had the same effect.
Everything was working great for a couple of days but then all of a sudden it wouldn’t download items that were purchased (i was testing with 1 penny items) and then it wouldn’t upload any images via FTP or via the symbiostock media upload.
the watermark was ok on ours but if you ticked the box to add cross lines also that never showed up..just the water mark.
March 1, 2016 at 6:12 pm #25920Hi George, disabeled all plugins and it still was having problem, i even went over the site and looked for any other issues (watermarks issues, size, ect) and disabled them..but no joy.
Robin..have messaged you mate, see what you think.
March 1, 2016 at 10:06 am #25917Im still not getting anywhere with this, going to look at doing a total re-load of WP and the plugin to see if it still happens….on a side note looks like cron jobs is working.
one thing i have noticed, on the media page, if i go into ‘edit’ and scroll down to ‘original media:download file’ it will down load the image i have loaded up, just doesn’t show up on dash board or WP media Library.
February 28, 2016 at 7:47 pm #25911Morning…had a quick look at the permissions on my ss_media file and have this set up…
ss_media = (711) you can: Read, Write, Execute Others can: Execute
.htaccess = (644) you can: Read, Write Others can: Read
also if i copy and paste the cron job line from the settings page to my cron job scheduled tasks and press test url it comes up with ‘your domian is not available’
February 28, 2016 at 3:36 am #25900yes..on the settings page (run cron) i press it after up loading images.
