I think when we’re done developing this version we’re just going to hop on over to 3.0.
Mostly I worked on the category pages to show hierarchy. You are only allowed to child-down to 1 level. This is mostly due to menu constraints and other practical issues with wordpress.

There have been a few layout improvements. A noticeable one is that “similar images” now center properly.

The best way to install a theme is to simply take the zip (unzipped) and upload it here:

Did you see the front page maker? Home page maker? Categories new page (which I’m improving for parent child relationships now)
I doubt it will hurt much – but Yoast certainly helps when its installed.
IE9 is great for keeping people on their toes! I’ll look at it. I have to hop out of Ubuntu and reboot to see it. I wouldn’t be surprised if your right. IE is horrible.

If you want to cheat the system, and it matters THAT much – you could try this:
