http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 12:52 pm #4013http://tulip.kerioak.com/image/intimidating-woman/?r=tulip.kerioak.com I have set this image up with a RM basic and other RM prices, can you explain what your problem is to see if we can make each other understand ( I have not edited the EULA’s would need to add wording if real.)
Yes, I have used the child them to get the metamorphis version how I want it – the same child theme I have been using from the beginning just with different contents.
If you set your child theme up you will have to (possibly) redo your menus and definitely edit the customize fields to match how they are at the moment without a child theme. For the content-image though you could possibly just install it without a child theme but ensure you have a backup version available of the original to replace it with if it goes wrong

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 12:37 pm #5132Okay, that helps. It is not a requirement but most of us, with perhaps one or two exceptions have “learned our trade” with various stock agencies and then come into Symbiostock.
If you were submitting to stock sites they all have minimum sizes, some are, say 2,400 pixels along the shortest edge. This is so that clients can use the images for multiple uses, not just online – they may be for billboards or large posts so the larger the original image the better. With a few exceptions they do not upsize (introduces problems such as artifacts) so the size up upload is always the largest available.
With the more modern dslr cameras the native size is much bigger than the minimum – 4000 or 5000+ pixels along the shortest size and at the highest quality (always upload only the highest quality, sharply in focus images) these are big files which easily fill the four sizes available.
I still feel your image size/saved quality, might be the issue as even the larger ones show 72 instead of 300 dpi and my offer stands if you wish to send me one of your images I will try uploading it to see what happens.

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 12:22 pm #4012Pricing: How about if you set the base price at the lowest RM level and when you are creating the licence put in Yes, and 00.00 for the prices
Then for the other more expensive licences add the amount to the the licence so it is the base RM price plus the cost of the additional licences?
Your licensing page might get a bit long but that is up to you.

Jo, we have been trying to explain to Ron ever since he started about using a child theme, and that he has to set it up as he has done with the main theme initially but we don’t speak the same language and have never been able to translate it properly. He would rather edit everything with each upgrade instead of once with the child theme 🙂

In your forum profile you can set your signature, it might be useful for others if you add your site there so that others can find it to see your problems without hunting to see which your site name is.
Welcome to the forum 🙂

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 9:11 am #5412They are all round figures – no 2.50 which a lot of blog sizes are.
Prices will also be varied because not all are offering the same sizes but it gives a good ideaIf the person who has a price at 1000 is looking – reduce it to something like 999 if you are using extended licences as they do not cover individual image prices at 1000 – puts them down to 00.01

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 9:06 am #5446Wow! That’s colourful.
You do not have a standard licence showing, add one and see if that helps.

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 19, 2013 at 8:51 am #4006Ron, see this thread – http://www.symbiostock.org/topic/136/displaying-release-information-on-image-page/ for its evolution and variations It was started by Jsonover, adapted by Redneck and then AJT helped with the bit I wanted included, all in Leo’s code so a joint effort.
It goes in content-image.php which can be added to your basic child theme (I cannot get it to work with dragonfly), add your own name so you can find it easily and change the colour (color) to suit your text

Also why do we indicate if we have a release or not when that info is nowhere on the image page. That needs a fix too
There is a workaround fix. I could not get it to work with dragonfly so far though but I think it looks good, take a look at one of my single image pages, if you like it I will find the thread when I am back at computer
