Cron job for sharing hosting [resolved]

Hi.

As I’m using sharing hosting i can’t use cron script and to set it up every minute.

Instead, i got option to run it every hour, but I need to point script to directory via ftp.

The question is, how can I set up the script via FTP directory? as this is my only option.

Perhaps someone else can help out, but this is outside the scope of our general support. I would recommend you consider moving to another host, as many shared hosts do provide minute cron jobs without these restrictions.

But if I will run cron manually or every hour, that still won’t affect the activity of plugin ?

The processor does a large number of functions, and does not do them all in one go. So no, running it once an hour is likely to have a highly detrimental effect on your Symbiostock site.
