I’ve had this constantly when I still was with Bluehost. Especially in the backend it felt like it took a minute to load a page.

Try this and see if it helps.
Put this into your .htaccess file, then run WP SEO again and see if it created the sitemap file.

The current forum is perfectly fine for now and I love how slim and fast it is. All I miss at the moment is “Personal Messages”.
However, thinking about what will probably come in the future (thousands of new members and the need to keep them under control ;)), it’s probably better to make he switch now than later.Welcome aboard!

I’d try to uninstall and then re-install WP SEO by Yoast. And then check the sitemap again.
