i have checked the thread, actually i think this is what i want to change:
“One major benefit of WordPress and thus Symbiostock is the ability to edit the theme to your own preferences.
When you first open it, it looks somewhat boring and there is lots of data in the top right hand corner (above header area), most of us have edited this to just show login and contact details. To get
CONTACT DETAILS you are best using a plug in
(add plug-in suggestions)
In your Pages section Symbiostock automatically creates some pages, I think this is one of them, you can add additional text if you wish.”but i don’t know how to remove those link.
October 7, 2013 at 12:33 pm #3902Hi Christine, thanks for your time.
http://yun.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=1611679125&uk=3694972279&third=0
I only click ‘header menu’ so i don’t think it is those link that is at the top right corner.
I would like to remove them or put them at the bottom of page. Should I create a new page for the Homepage?
Kind of clueless where to start, i try to google how to edit a look of wordpress page but maybe it is too general and can’t get any results.

Use Appearence , menu to put what you want at top right
Or make me an admin on your site (new user with admin permissions) and email the details or if you use skype send me your username and I will try and show you via share screen

I’m on GoDaddy.
If I remember correctly, you have to create a password for FTP (it is separate from your regular GoDaddy account).
I put the following in FileZilla (in the QuickConnect bar at the top of the screen):
Host: shazamimages.com
Username:
Password:I then click the QuickConnect button.
September 21, 2013 at 6:19 pm #3061I have tried that..the server details got a few like ip address, a string of numbers, ftp address – combination of numbers and alphabets like 23a.3e4,myftpupload.com, and hostname, which is just my website..like xxxxx.com
i tried all three it all seems password passed but then
Command: PASS *********
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to serverany other setting? do i need to set a path?

September 21, 2013 at 4:09 pm #3055ok, i tried to put ‘ftp.xxxxx.com[/url:eno49a6w]’ but i didn’t try with ‘ftp://xxxx.com‘, i thought the format should be something like ftp.xxx.com[/url:eno49a6w]?
