I forgot to add your DEMO appears to show the different aspect ratios so I am assuming it is a setting I have wrong.
I do not use the premium add-on slider that is bundled
July 27, 2019 at 12:25 pm #34972I’ve figured out the zoom with a plugin that does what I need for desktop and mobile.
Now the croppng. How do I set it up so that there are no cropping at all, especially the thumbnails. WP media settings are set to no cropping. However when I add new photos the thumbnails are cropped 1:1
We have various sizes as well as both landscape and portrait oriented photos..
My Symbiostock Express theme settings are;
Force products into rows NO
Shop Category Column Layout Four Columns
Category Image Aspect Ratio: Turn Off
Product Image Aspect Ratio: Not Set (I have tried it as 1:1 and 4:3 but cleared that so shows ‘Select an Item; which I have not selected)
Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on Catalog pages: OFF (I have also tried on)
Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on product Page: OFF (I have also tried on)I can’t see anywhere else including in SymbioStock Pro settings that may cause/fix the issue.
Is there another setting I have missed or something I can add to my functions file?
Thanks
July 19, 2019 at 10:14 am #34913Thanks, I though it might be that. I will have to setup an older version of xampp
In relation to this and just curious, how often is Symbiostock updated to the later versions of PHP and WooCommerce?
October 20, 2015 at 6:02 pm #24382Can you give me a quote to do the above for me? (scrub that sending a support request now)
The data is there as it is entered when you create a new license, it is just a case of being able to use that on the front end,
October 20, 2015 at 5:47 pm #24381OK thanks for that, I think I understand now.
I have noticed however a degrading of image quality between what I upload and what the client would get as the download, jpg to jpg – is this normal?
Is it possible to set the default download format to be jpg (jpeg) even if the file is a tiff or png?
I just tried a png instead of a jpg, however when I went to download the png file and open it with photoshop CS6 I get this error ‘Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file‘
BTW Imagick is disabled on my server is this the issue?
Thanks
October 20, 2015 at 4:08 pm #24379So what if they order more than one item, are they all called myphoto?
Maybe a request for an update is to enable prefix and then numbering (like a serial number)
October 20, 2015 at 1:16 pm #24374Thanks guys, I ended up having to use ‘photos’ in Product category base and Category base
Now the sites urls work like this;
mydomain.com/photography (main shop page)
mydomain.com/photos/category/subcategory (for category pages)
mydomain.com/photography/category/subcategory/productname (for product pages)That is not ideal and it is only the category pages not using the correct photography path… best I can do unless anyone can suggest a fix
October 15, 2015 at 3:36 pm #24342Alternatively you can install the WC Variations Radio Buttons plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-variations-radio-buttons/
Hope that helps 🙂
