– 1.5mb mp4 test video
– test.mp4 from the diagnostic tool (~5mb).Also for more info on the site:
– It’s hosted on AWS Lightsail
– PHP version is 7.3.14 (Supports 64bit values)
(please let me know if any other server info would help)I uploaded via FTP to this folder:
/opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/ss_media/new/Than I ran the Processor script which moved the videos out of the new folder and added it to the ss_media folder.
However, the video previews are still not working on the product page. The thumbnail is just a photo of the placeholder image.
May 19, 2020 at 1:35 am #36704Hi Robin, thanks for the clarifications! I was able resolve the permissions issue. But not the video issue. Symbiostock Video is installed and I ran the Symbiostock Video Diagnostic tool with success. It was able to render the test video.
However, we’re still getting the same error:
Error(s): Failed to create video preview for product ID: 68 | Dismiss error(s).The video is in the correct location at:

We’re hitting errors when trying to process video previews. Whether it’s due directly to this, I’m not sure.
