I accidentally signed up with IE9 so I repeated with a different email account for an old site of mine and same speedy deliver on Opera.
Jo
Edit: You can delete the accounts hehe. Might need to sign up again to test in the near future 🙂

Done and instant email notification 🙂 I don’t know with mobile devices as I don’t really have any but my 4″ screen smart phone.
Jo
Thanks..
opera mini is a ridiculous mobile browser anyway 🙂

Which CAPTCHA plugin?
Captcha by BestWebSoft
I would like to have a captcha plugin to reduce spam registrations but obviously prefer one which will not cause problems..

Ok, I’ve created brand new accounts on my site by registering from scratch on all the browsers below and using a gmail account and I’m on a PC. I get an instant email sent to me and I register with no problems.
I’ve tested this with;
IE9
Safari
Sea Monkey
Opera
FirefoxI skipped Chrome because I’m tired, I use it for my own site and it just always works anyway.
They all work if you use a reliable email address. Any email address issued by Microsoft is guaranteed to arrive in 3 weeks.

it’s not about the email address because I tried with gmail and yahoo and they were NOT working with captcha plugin activated..
for some reason, I think captcha plugin was causing the issue.. because it works for me as well, since I disabled it.. (except opera mini which I don’t really care..)
October 24, 2013 at 6:21 pm #5934Opera mini for mobile doesn’t work.. with or without captcha..
all other browsers (desktop and mobile) work since I disabled the captcha plugin..

really puzzling stuff..
you could create an account on my site using FF, but I can’t..
interestingly my FF works on your site.. the button is not grayed out..
it’s something with my site.. I will try disabling that captcha plugin..
Cidepix, I just registered on your site without difficulty and instantly got an email welcoming me, giving my Login name and PW, plus links. Really nice!
And BTW, I’m using Firefox with a Mac. It worked perfectly on my setup.
I had just disabled the captcha plugin a minute before you registered and it works perfectly fine for me too at the moment..
October 24, 2013 at 6:17 pm #5931I disabled the “captcha” plugin and I can now create an account on my site, on all browsers..
So that was the problem.. captcha plugin was interfering with something..
what I don’t understand is how you were able to create an account on FF..

Works perfect. 🙂
Then why is that button grayed out on my FF, opera and safari?
what if a potential customer is having the same problem.. let me try it on your site in a minute..

LOgin works perfect on FF
Ron, can you check it on my site.. you don’t have to register.. just fill in the details and see if that “Create Account” button is activated..
it is grayed out on my FF.. and I can not create a new account..
could it be because I need a FF plugin or something?
or a problem with my site..

I got it immediately. I checked the sign up email address as soon as I finished signing up and it was there. The email runs on Gmail.

I created one more account now and received the email.. I also received previous emails that I didn’t receive earlier..
It’s been hours.. this shows us how wise it was to let the customers set their passwords on sign up..
And some bad news: registration does not work on “safari”, “firefox” and “opera” browsers..
It works perfectly fine on chrome and IE browsers..
Did you guys check safari, firefox and opera?

Just got home and to my emails and stuff now. I managed to update with no side effects (other than a little excitement) and everything appears to be functioning as expected. Registration works smoothly and got the email instantly with my chosen sign up details/password.
Jo
Interesting..
Everything works smoothly for me too.. except the newly registered user does not get any emails..

I followed the steps, and now my search results show up as one stacked row of mages on the left side. 🙁
How do I fix this?
I ran into issues after running the process once..
I repeated the upgrade process, in case I missed something.. The second time it worked well.. I have no idea why it wasn’t ok the first time around..
simply de-activating and re-activating the themes could solve any issues.. I am not sure.. you may only try it..
October 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm #4162Thanks to Leo, issue 2 is history now! 🙂
So far, when we talked about image licensing platforms, usually 3 solutions were mentioned the most: k-tools, cmsaccount and symbiostock..
while others had some more refined features, symbiostock clearly stood up with it’s networking aspects.. that alone, made it a clear winner for me.. BUT NOW! Not only that symbiostock has a powerful networking aspect, it’s also evolving into the best solution ever feature-wise 🙂
I will still raise my concerns about “issue 1” 😀
it is what will make symbiostock buying process “amazing” 🙂
