I am getting people visiting my site that come though other sites (can see this using wordfence), I can’t tell about numbers as I had such a catastrophic August and spent September reuploading

I meant remove the keyword that you use to find your images, I think I used aaaa – you can use batcheditor to remove keywords

Try the keyword workaround on one or two images to start with to make sure you can remove them

Yes, you can deselect extended images if you are a customer – check out my (testing site) tulip.kerioak.com – dog images – not everything has extended licences

Use my main site instead – that also has a guest account you can use

The extended licence can be applied to ALL images in Symbiostock (bee) Author options

Or, you can assign all your images a particular keyword, pull up all images with that keyword – assign licences to all images with that keyword (which probably will run out of memory) then delete that keyword (possibly)

Deselecting extended licence – I had not thought about that. Had a quick look and cannot find a way of deselecting licences without deleting them

2.7.4 – Image Page

Circles – it seems they are really large when you land on the page and the licences are listed underneath each other

When you click on one they revert to the (neater) small circles, but the licences are then alongside each other again.

EDIT: see later that these circles are called radio buttons 😀

Ron – you can edit all images at once in Symbiostock (bee) Author options – but remember if you try and edit them all at once, using any format you will lose any release status/ratings everything reverts to defaults

For the moment anyway it is best to do any that have model releases, ratings, exclusivity separately/in category groups. It took me quite a while to do mine as I had a lot of redoing to do .

I do not understand “And are the licences already toggable?”

Thinking about it there are a few things I would try, I work by trial and error, this is not a technical suggestion and I take no responsibility for the results

In
wp-content
plugins
rename plugins (I think this disables them, I usually just stick an x on the front)

then if that does not work
wp-content
themes
symbiostock
either delete or rename (I think I would be inclined to delete)

Again cPanel is much faster for this than ftp

Hopefully once the theme has been deleted you will be able to get into your wordpress site and reinstall symbiostock

Cathy, you asked a question, I had a feeling you would not like my answer but would you rather be ignored or just receive answers that suit your particular beliefs? Like me and everyone else you are entitled to your own opinion and way of doing things. I have always lived by the creed that I will treat others how I would like to be treated, but something happened to me recently (nothing to do with stock) that has made me rethink that and wonder if I should treat others how they treat me instead 🙂

I tried jsphoto’s in chrome and firefox. I can view the site, just not log in. I can register there and receive the email with password with no problem.

I logged in and out of my testing site just to make sure it worked and that has no problems.

If I was him I would delete my symbiostock from the themes folder via ftp or cPanel (cPanel is much faster) and reload, but that is up to him, I try all sorts of things when something does not work 🙂

Every time we answer a post here we are potentially helping out our competition, should we continue to spend time doing that instead of working on our own sites? If we follow it right back then Leo is helping out his competition more than any of us by creating the theme, sharing it and making it as perfect as he can.

Maybe no one can explain because this is a completely new idea and system and no on has the experience to make an definite statements yet. My opinion it is a symbiotic relationship and by linking we help each other, if we link to 10 others and no-one links to us then we are helping the network but no-one is helping us. If lots of people link to us but we don’t link to anyone else then they are helping the network and thus us, then are we accepting that help but not giving any ?

Who knows why everyone is not filling their slots, maybe they cannot find ten sites they want to link to or don’t feel confident enough, or are still setting up or can’t be bothered or have read somewhere that some people do not think it is worth linking to others 🙂 ?

I just tried loading Wordfence again and it locked me out of my testing site again. Something seems incompatible between Wordfence and my testing site at the moment so I am using ftp to delete it — again.

I got locked out once before but that was my fault, I made the settings too restrictive. I got locked out yesterday and had not touched it so I do not know what is happening. I have just loaded 2.7.4 so will try loading wordfence again
