It depends what you have done to it and if you have made lots of modifications
If it does not do what you expected then make a copy and save
Delete contents of original within the theme
Add things backp one at a time to see what works and what does not

First I would leave child theme turned off until you see what is available within 2.7.* as many things can be edited within it

No (unless Leo has included it while I was not watching) the dynamic previews (enlargments) are not included in Symbiostock, just in syxtra where they still work.

I would strongly suggest you create a testing site then if/when something happens so we have to upgrade at least we will know what we need to do to change over fast (I created a sub-domain and set it up on that, most hosting allow for subdomains I think.)

I would like to know what throttling means, last time I checked (probably the last time someone mentioned it) I had been throttled for 3600 seconds every hour for 22 hours (surprising I was still alive ! :D) during that time I had uploaded some images and worked on them – other people had visited with no problems so I wonder what it actually means.

I installed it just to have a look – the readme page says:

Add the ability to attach meta data to the wordpress categories and terms.
It can be used to add meta to custom taxonomies (terms).

This plugins add meta data to the wordpress categories and terms.

It adds input fields to the category and other term administration interface to enter the meta values.

I added an edit to my previous post as I started it before you had posted just in case that was the nav problem – you might have to explain exactly what is going wonky as they should stay the same between 2.7* updates – they would be different between 2.6.5 and 2.7.*

Sorry, I was looking at the wrong thing.

I am guessing that the Category Meta might be the basic list of categories for those who do not already have their own – ie for complete newcomers.

If I am right then those of us who are upgrading and already have our our category list would not need it (I have not installed it and have not noticed anything missing) – this is pure guesswork and Leo might need to confirm

Yes, I think they should be 00.00 but I have no idea if this would have caused your problem – it was just the first thing that occurred.

If you are using a child theme it is advised that you turn it off to start with with 2.7.* as they can clash with the parent theme.

You should not lose your nav. bars after upgrading within 2.7.* I don’t think

Edit: Are you installing Categories Meta after each upgrade? You might not need to, need to check with Leo whether this is the basic category list for newcomers

Me neither not for doing them in bulk anyway – I don’t know everything by a long long way 😀
I think at one time we could do it through All images and bulk editing but not now. I leave comments turned on for my image pages in case anyone wants to comment. No one does though (I use anti-capture as well).

Edit: You do not have any categories either – is that missing or have you not set your header/above header navigation bars up yet?
